Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately Iām continually disappointed with Bearwater in Canton, even though I so badly want it to be one of my favorite spots. Donāt get me wrong, service and staff are great, very kind and friendly. Beer is great! Atmosphere is wonderful and they have a PRIME location in Canton, but the food is just so awful. And not only is it awful but itās so expensive to be so bad. Pictured is supposed the chicken salad sandwich described as ātender chunks of chicken, grapes, celery, and tarragon. Served on a buttery croissant.āā¦ā¦. This was a purĆ©e and tasted awful! Too much tarragon and not enough anything else. The other was a Rueben which was pretty blah. They use to have a food truck pre covid/2020 that was delicious. Pizza, shrimp po boy to die for! They have switched food vendors multiple times and just donāt seem to ever get it right. And not to mention the price! Two sandwiches, two sides (that supposedly come with the sandwiches), two beers, and a canned Sunkist for $55ā¦. It really breaks my heart. We live 2 minutes away and would be regular customers multiple times a week if the food was decent for a decent price. I donāt even mind paying $60-$70 for food if itās delicious and makes me want to come back! Every time we come (we typically try it again at least 3 times a year for the last 5 years) we see people drinking but never eating. It speaks volumes on food. I wish they would put some effort into the food and taste, itās so...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2 stars because it was nice, typical brewery, but I was way over charged. I was there Sat Oct 29 and between 3ish to 7ish. During that period we drank 7 beers between 2 of us before walking over to see the outdoor Halloween movie. I was in a hurry and a little buzzed when I cashed out in time to walk over when it was starting. My bill was 77$ and I was shocked but thought maybe the beers are 10$? and it was my fault for not checking the price. I left a 20% tip so my final bill was 93$ and I felt totally ripped off. The next day, Saturday, no accountant was in but I found out the beers we drank were 6$ a piece, so my bill SHOULD have been about 42/43$. So I said I'd call back to speak to Tiffany, their accountant. I called back 2 times - Monday and Tuesday and left messages that I was concerned about my bill, that I was over charged or someone else had rung up my bill, accidentally or not. Nobody, to this day, has ever called me back to resolved this issue. I will never go back because I feel taken advantage of and want to warn other patrons: If you feel like your bill is wrong IT IS. FIX IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE or no one will ever...
