We made the HUGE mistake of skipping Grateful Table initially because my other half was craving Mexican food—let’s just say that decision led us straight into a flavorless disaster at Three Compas. But after that major letdown, we wandered over to Grateful Table Cafe & Provisions... and WOW. What an absolute 1000% improvement!

Though we didn’t sit down for a full meal (this time!), we picked up a few goodies that completely redeemed our taste buds. First, the homemade molasses and ginger cookies—soft like pillows, perfectly spiced, and honestly tasted like they came straight from heaven. There was a subtle hint of clove, one of my favorite spices, and it made the whole experience feel cozy and special.

Then came the duck fat caramels. As a duck owner, I was beyond curious—and while I’ll admit I prefer traditional caramels, these were rich, unique, and absolutely worth the try. They even sparked some ideas for experimenting in my own kitchen.

We also grabbed some salami, and let me tell you: it was out. of. this. world. Packed with flavor, clearly made with care, and easily one of the best cured meats I've had in a long time.

We will be back—especially in hopes of snagging some of that homemade bread we sadly missed this time (it was sold out, which honestly tells you everything you need to know). You can taste the quality in every product they sell, and it’s clear they’re using top-notch ingredients that make a real culinary impact. Totally worth every penny.

Grateful Table, thank you for turning our day around—we can’t wait...

We were exploring Western North Carolina and stumbled upon Grateful Table Cafe & Provisions, and WOW!!! This is a must stop! The restaurant/shop was fairly busy when we entered, but the employee working the counter took the time to greet and welcome every visitor. This young lady was absolutely phenomenal and made us feel right at home; engaging with the entire family. The shop itself was full of local spices, cheeses, wines, and assorted locally made goods. It had a nice dining area with a view looking out into the cute town. We ordered a breakfast biscuit sandwich with eggs and bacon and it was absolutely incredible. This was no fast food breakfast. This was a made-to-order sandwich that blew us away. We HIGHLY recommend this establishment for it's incredible customer service, high quality food, and delightful atmosphere. We can't...

This place was.. ok. The menu items, in my opinion, are overpriced. I popped in to get a quick togo meal and ordered one biscuit, the cheapest item ($8) and what I thought would be the fastest to make. I waited for just over 25 minutes for a heated biscuit with honey and jam. The biscuit came with only honey and when I asked for jam, as I had originally, they wanted to charge me more. The hassle just to get this biscuit was enough for me to leave this review. The items in their store are sweet and local, but the oldest lady at the front was not looking at me kindly while I waited, and waited, for a singular, expensive biscuit. If you’re looking for a kind of busy atmosphere with overpriced food (that does taste good) I would go here. Otherwise, I was...

The Grateful Table is the small town hidden gem that tourists search for and locals hope for! Absolutely amazing food and experience. I am extremely health conscious and love to support locals; this is what brought me here. The food and staff are what are going to make me a regular. I truly cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, variety on the menu, and quality of the food. Thus far I have tried The Grateful Summer Salad and Paper Town (meatloaf sandwich). The salad is the best salad I've ever had and the sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had. This is a must visit restaurant and store!

For anyone who doesn’t already know about this lovely gem on Main Street in Canton, North Carolina - You are missing out! Healthy, unique, and delicious food finds, wine and beer options, a beautiful gift shop, and mimosas by the glass or pitcher! The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever met! There is also an ice cream selection! We have been several times now. Today, I had the Hippie Bowl and brought home chocolate zucchini bread. Amazing!!! Don’t think twice - GO! My photos do not do it justice… Thank you Grateful Table for giving us this sweet place to enjoy!

Wow these ladies do a great job! We came for brunch at 9:00 on Sunday. It was pretty quiet until 9:30 (?) but I’ve heard sometimes there’s a wait. The shrimp and grits were so tasty. Bacon in it was crispy. Shrimp were perfectly cooked. The pimento cheese grits were delicious. The French toast was also great! I really like that they take extra measures to be eco-friendly/sustainable. Also there is an awesome play area for young kids with a dollhouse, big building bricks, and lots of books. My preschooler was quietly engaged.
