White Crown Cafe — Restaurant in Canton

I have ate here for years and both the food and the prices are great, but no more !! A couple weeks ago I was there on a Friday night for dinner. I went to the restroom and as I came out of the stall an employee (didn't know she was an employee) also came out of a stall. I washed my hands and proceeded to dry them while the employee RINSED her hands under water ( no soap) and wiped them on her pants. I followed her out of the bathroom where she turned right and went straight into the kitchen. I told the two people I was with to see if they found it as disgusting as I did... I then flagged down our waitress to make sure she was an employee in the kitchen, to which she answered yes. I then proceeded to let her know what I witnessed. She went into the kitchen and returned a couple minutes later stating that the OWNER said that it was OK because they had a sink in the kitchen where she would wash her hands and wear gloves. Can not make drinks right or food how u order it ... ordered my usual drink I always order at the bar and it was not even made right then the bar tender argued with me trying to say she new how to make them and no I drink them all the time they are not that sweet then to top it off ii ordered my burger rare and it was well done I feel like they did it cause my drink was wrong and i didnt want it and wanted something else .... then my dude reordered for me thinking they might get it right but it was still over cook sad never had bad service food and drinks like that before then rude service when u complain cause they messed something up ....what happened to the customer is always right???? One of the best steak you will find in Canton. Run special on Friday's for 2 strip steaks, potatoes, choice of salad, or Apple sauce for around $20. I've personally over the years have got to know owners. Great people and have nice neighbor hood bar with good food at vary reasonable price. I've never had any issues at the bar. I've been going there for over 10 years. Every bar has somebody whom wants to start trouble at one time or another. Daryl and Shelley don't put up with trouble makers and I've never felt unsafe. Know the facts before you say negative things about this place. Don't miss out on a great steak because of one review. No it's not Beldon but great bar. Miss ya Daryl and Shelley.
