EDIT: April 4th, 2023 Was contacted by Ritchie, ask me "politely " to remove 2 photos I took.
I suppose it showed the place was empty. It was mid-afternoon, to me, this wasn't a negative. There were a couple of people having a drink and waiting on a food pickup.
So without hesitation, I removed them. Perhaps they would like to explain the request out here?
My original review will stand, no harm done. Perhaps they want to control photos of their establishment. I don't know if there's a feature that would allow them to do this.
☆☆ Called Richie out of curiosity. My pictures became the default on the site. I don't blame him to want to change them.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I hadn't been in this place for over 20 years. Things have changed, new layout and new ownership.
So I dropped in for a burger and fries.
I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, fries, and Diet Coke. The service was slow, could be just an off day? The grill took a while.
The food was hot and everything was $11...Great prices and the burger was a juicy one with a nice grilled bun.
The fries weren't fresh cut " bummer", but hot and large.
The question I always refer to...would I return?
. that's the important thing.
There are specials and many more choices. Stop in have a beer and try their menu for yourselves.
Downsides: needs more lighting for eating food . Dim lighting for drinking is cool.
Faster cooking times would be great.
The bartenders were friendly and...

The Junction "Italian" Tavern is primarily a bar. The typical juke box, darts, billiards table, etc. that you would expect. The big bonus is a large food menu. Fish, pasta, steaks, wings. Food specials vary by the day like ladies night where ladies drink free, discount wings - from mild to hot to dry rub.
A super friendly owner and staff. Two parking areas in the back of the building and along the West side. Live music on Wednesday or Thursday (I forget). The entire place has a real laid back vibe.
Definitely off the beaten path, but clean with very good food and drinks. A well-kept secret looking for you to...

The food is amazing. Big portions with plenty of taste! We had almost every Italian option on the menu and were completely satisfied! Bring your appetite because you will not get cheated!!
Service was good...the owner is involved and was highly attentive.
The only downside we experienced was a pretty limited beer selection. Nothing on tap and no IPA's.. But that's a more personal selection and subjective based on preference.
Overall I would highly recommended this little...
