I really wish I could do like a 2.5 star. But because of all the combined past experiences, rounding down.
So, positive first. The food itself is never half bad. I mean, it's taco bell so you are not expecting too much in the first place. The place was clean, the staff all around acted nice but they were too busy kinda parading around like kids. Saying things "They don't know how we do it on the night shift!"
Well, perhaps that's where it needs to end. Cause onto the bad. I usually come in the evenings when I did go and they have historically always messed up my orders. And it really isn't that big of a deal. I just don't get sauces. No sour cream. No ranch. Nothing but the veggies, cheese, and meat in whatever I order. And, for awhile they have been great at getting my orders right.
Well, not this one. I got a cheesy gordita crunch, quesadilla, 5 layer burrito, and a chicken flatbread. Planned on munching on that yesterday and today. But nope.
Had really looked forward to that 5 layer burrito. I just don't get it with sour cream. It's really good otherwise, but sour cream all over it. Same thing with the chicken flatbread, just had to put their sauce in it.
The quesadilla and the Gordita crunch did not have any sauce in them, so I know that at least know how to read the screen. So, even though spent 20 dollars...only ate 10 dollars worth of my food. And to make matters better, I noticed the kiosk didn't send me the receipt, so I couldn't return it.
tl:dr - Stop playing around so much and pay attention to the orders. I truly believe they know what they are doing, just too much jumping around and giggling between each other to read the screen. Only eating half my order isn't a good experience.
EDIT: I had to do it. Since this review I've tried going back there several times. They are WAY too inconsistent on making orders correctly. Like, I worked fast food for 7 years. I get it, it sucks...but read the screen. I won't be returning anytime soon. Had to bump it down to a 1 because it's not getting better. And they don't care if you...
Read moreA bit late but posting this so Taco Bell knows about this. We were headed to the canyon on Black Friday and wanted to pick up lunch before leaving Canyon. It was 9:30 AM, but still very cold, and were glad to see GMaps say this location was expected to be open (with a warning that Black Friday hours may vary).
Reached there, and a notice on the door said "closed for Thanksgiving", but the door wouldn't open. We almost gave up when we saw a lady inside, but either she didn't notice us or ignored us (what do you think? 😀). We thought perhaps the side door was what we need to use, but that was locked too.
There was a car parked next to the side door. I made eye contact with the man and woman in the car and pointed towards the door, and they both made a face that seemed to indicate they had no clue about it. I headed back to my car, and we started discussing lunch options. Suddenly, the man from that car came out, bolted to the front door, which magically opened for him. The lady drove off, she was presumably just dropping him off.
We followed hoping it was now open but turns out it was locked again and now the two people inside either didn't notice us or ignored us (what do you think? 😀). We also niticed that the man was wearing Taco Bell uniform.
We understand that they were not in a position to serve any customers at that time, or it simply didn't make financial to open when very few customers are expected, but I would have appreciated some honesty and clear communication.
We have been to many Taco Bell locations and have been generally satisfied but this one was definitely a...
Read moreNick was rude, unprofessional, and dirty. He kept touching his hair and food. He left a dust pan and broom in the kitchen next to a food prep table. After almost an hour of waiting he had helped every Uber eats, mobile order, and drive thru. Even the guy that got off work got his food faster than we did. I finally asked about the wait and he said we were next. I was kind and patient. I see him slide two more bags out the window and start another Uber eats order for a guy that walked in about 40 minutes behind us. Nick said the drive thru is first due to the timer. I told him my time is valuable too. He replied with "since you want to get an attitude". I laughed in shock and told him I would like a refund. He told me "no" and laughed. I asked who the manager on duty was and he said he was, another young lady he pointed to. I said "ma'am" and she turned. She was very polite and professional. Her name is Nikki. I tried to explain to her what was going on. Nick continued to try and yell over me. I told him to "go on and go back to work". He said "I am" and stood there. He was hand on hips saying " this is what really happened" and tried to go on. Nikki told him to "go away" and he did. He then grabbed a dirty broom and dust pan leaving it in the prep area and going back to making food. Very disgusting as he did not was his hands during any of this. We never got our order. Unsweet tea is kept behind the counter. Lobby was dirty. Employee was eating...
