Got Donuts? — Restaurant in Canyon

So, to put it mildly, donuts should be a relaxing experience. I got my donuts just fine. Was prepping my coffee to take out and all was well. A lady came in with her kido and asked how much donut holes were. The lady behind the counter said 1.50 for 12. She said ok, she would like 4, 4, & 4 of these donut holes pointing and describing them. "If there wasn't an extra expense to mix and match?" she asked. The lady said there wasn't, but those holes are extra. She said ok how much. The lady said 2.25 for those. She said ok, 4, 4, & 4 of these. The lady apparently bagged up 6 and 6 and charged her. The patron realized and said lady said "no I said I wanted the blueberry ones too" the lady then said those are extra... The patron again said yes she likely would have paid but at no point in time did she say half and half or 6 and 6. The Lady behind the counter decided to start "mansplaining her" (yeah I know but it is the closest description I got) and making the whole situation take 10 times the time effort and energy 12 donut holes deserve. First off, LABEL The darn things, nothing in this place has a good label. Second, don't invent something then tell the customer that is what she/he ordered. I don't tend to pay attention to if I get service with a smile... But when I see someone frowning at someone else and saying it is their problem... Not a fan. Update: After I left a two star review, I received two phone calls and a text from the owners of the business. They were saying I lied on my review and the lady was raising her voice at me telling me she was not rude while she was being rude to me on the phone. It was unprofessional and immature to say the least. Not to mention the lady was insinuating that all I was after was a free donut.. I will pass on a good donut if the service is bad.

We had a baby shower in town and decided to order some donut holes. I called the day before to order them and they told me I needed to go ahead and pay for them. Paying for them in advance was no problem… I put them in my sisters name, because she was supposed to pick them up. We ended up riding together and when she went in to get them they informed her that her order had already been picked up. Why make me pay for them if you’re going to give my order away? The supervisor or whatever her position is was extremely rude telling my sister that they didn’t have her order. I only have two stars because the donut holes were very good. Got Donuts? was a solid stop for a late morning treat. We arrived around 10:30 AM on a Thursday and while the service was super attentive and friendly, the selection was already pretty picked over—no sprinkled donuts left, which was a bit of a bummer for the kids. That said, what we did get was fresh and tasty. The kolache was especially good—warm, flavorful, and generously filled.

What really stood out was their drink selection. It was much more diverse than most donut shops—we were even able to grab a Bai water, which is a rare find and a nice touch for those avoiding sugary drinks. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the items we tried.

The shop was clean, easy to access, and located in a strip with plenty of parking. While we wish we’d arrived earlier for more donut variety, we’d definitely stop again—but next time we’ll go earlier to catch the full spread.
