Anthony on the Blvd., Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I went here for the breakfast buffet. $10 with coffee.
NOTE: ( on your birthday you get the percentage of your birthday on your meal. ie. 65yo. U get 65% off.)
If you like traditional Americanize breakfast buffet this is for you. Cinnamon rolls, bacon, sausage, biscuits, toast etc.
They have a egg station. So you can get over easy sunny side up etc.
Also so called omelet...The guy who makes the eggs has been here for a while...HE does NOT know how to make the traditional-french omelet as we know it. He would never pass as a chef in France.... ;-(
Aside from lacking this skill he does an excellent job.
Anyway food is hot, fresh ,good quality and fine service.

Anthony on the Blvd., Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.Well here are my thoughts on the breakfast buffet. 10.22 with taxes. It was wonderful. Bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, grits, gravy, toast and hot cinnamon rolls. Good coffee AYCD. A omelet or egg station. The only thing I have thats miss the mark.. It is the omelet. It is not made the tradition french style, but they are making 3-4 orders at one time. in a quick. You tell them what kind of eggs and they literally whip it up.. Staff was on point ,food was hot and refilled as needed. I hope they can keep the excellence up.
Well, I finally was hungry enough, woke up on time & the parking lot was not full.Soooo
All you can eat breakfast buffet with surprising good coffee. About 8 bucks. It is solid quality and good price. Yours choices are design your omelet, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy ,scramble eggs, potatoes, pancake, flapjacks, hash, toast etc. The folks were great the omelet guy good. Severs kept your coffee mug full as needed. Food was all fresh and tasty. It is very causal. So if you are really hungry come on down. 1 patron had a 6 inch high plate with nothing but bacon. MMMMMMMMMM...
Read moreI purchased a $40 Groupon "Towards Food & Drink For Dine-In Or Take-Out" at Anthony's On The Boulevard. I came in and tried to use it for take-out, but was told it was for dine-in only. Since my wife, son, and I were already there, I didn't argue and we all came in for lunch.
The server told us we had to use the dinner menu even though it was lunchtime, and swapped our menus. The Groupon didn't specify lunch or dinner, but again, we didn't argue.
After the check came, the owner said we had to buy 4 dinners or he would not honor the Groupon. At this point, I had to argue and show him his Groupon that clearly read "$40 Towards Food & Drink For Dine-In Or Take-Out" and the fine print section that said nothing about having to buy 4 meals off of the dinner menu.
I don't know what stress he's currently under, but he immediately became irate and actually yelled in the faces of my wife and child. I can't believe it, but I remained calm and tried explaining to him that I was simply following the terms of his Groupon. He said we should've assumed we had to buy 4 dinners and not to argue over semantics. For fear of his anger escalating, I reluctantly paid, and we got the heck out of there.
It's a shame, really. I was willing to compromise, but his focus was on scamming and penny-pinching rather than providing good food and service to potential returning customers. His business practices are so alarmingly unprofessional, I'm sure this place is on it's way out.
I'm also sure he's changed the Groupon terms by now, and will reply to this review that I'm a liar, so I have taken multiple screen captures of the Groupon he refused to honor, including the title and fine print section that shows who's...
Read moreI bought a Groupon ($22 for $40/2 people/dinner) and due to extenuating circumstances (family illness) let it expire. Groupon states one never loses the value. A friend and I visited Anthony's a few weeks ago at 3:50. I explained I'd be using my expired Groupon, paying cash for any overage. The waitress gave use both lunch and dinner menus. We ordered from the lunch one. When I was given my bill I was told by a different waitress that I couldn't use the $22 credit because it was only good for dinner. I don't understand why, since Anthony's was simply giving me the money back that I'd given them, they refused to apply the credit towards lunch. Anthony's was out nothing, except having to honor an expired Groupon. It makes no sense to me, and isn't fair. I've now got a bad taste on my mouth....so to speak. I'll go back one last time because I don't want Anthony's to benefit from my misfortune. UPDATE:. Re owner's response. First, I did call after my initial visit, and left a detailed message with the person who answered. She said that you'd call me. You didn't. Secondly, you act as though you deserve a medal for simply letting me use the $22.00 I was out. You don't. That amount plus the extra buck or so paid for our food. You gave me nothing...but aggravation. Most people would have just dropped the matter. Yes, I use Groupon's to save money when I can, and I'm not ashamed of it.. But, regardless, there's no way I would have dropped this. Some things are a matter of principle. This is...
