I called to speak with the manager, Whitney, to resolve a issue I had with the employee named Sheillitha. No one picked up the phone.
I tried paying with an Apple Pay gift card. Sheillitha told me I need the physical card to pay and apple pay will not work. I asked why they gave the option of apple pay if we can not use it. Sheillitha did not get someone for support, did not try adding the numbers in again, and was very rude during the encounter. She seemed like she found pleasure in arguing with a customer and telling me that there was no solution. She leaded in to talk down to me, talked slow as if I was a toddler, used a very rude tone, and rolled her eyes many times. I told Sheillitha I will put it on hold then. She said "okay" with a sarcastic smile then just stared at me. I ended up leaving to go get the physical card since apple pay does not work at the store. I told her I will be back tonight. I live 4 minutes away so I ran home and grabbed the card and was back in about 10 minutes. Sheillitha dumped my stuff on hold in a bin mixed with a bunch of other stuff that goes back on the floor. I had to go through the bin to find my stuff and was missing some items. I was only gone for 10 minutes and asked them to be on hold.
I talked to someone else after I got my belongings to purchase and she said apple pay does work. I wasted a trip. Very frustrating.
This is my first one star review. I only write reviews on companies that need a five star review for good customer service.
I hope the Whitney the manager has a conversation with Sheillitha about how apple pay works and how to properly speak...
Read moreGreat store! Managers keep a tight ship, employees are EXTREMELY busy but very pleasant. Best of all, somehow even with the volume of ppl going through, the shelves are always full and ever changing! I was there 3 days in a row, after finding a LOT of stuff I couldn't live without, I couldn't find my card at checkout! They stored my stuff for the following day. When I went back, I was shocked to find new stuff I hadn't seen the previous day, on the shelves. The store was neat and organized and even though I was the last customer out of what must be thousands daily, they remembered me!! Awesome service guys! Marlene? I believe that was her name..did an amazing job, as did the GM! and it paid off because I would up buying twice as much as I would have, had they not accommodated me by holding my purchase. They also offer layaway which I was not aware of. I mean look at those shelves! Perfect! And .. seriously, there were at least 7 registers of fast cashiers going nonstop all day...I don't know how they managed to keep it so...
Read moreI got to the store and had to wait in line to get in, in my mind, that was a good sign. There is also a sign on the door that they value the health and safety of their customers and expect all customers to wear masks, another good sign. When I got inside, I found that about 1/3 of the people didn't have masks on and didn't respect the 6 ft social distancing. After finding the items I was looking for, I got in line, the line, OMG was soooo long. But I stood on my "stand here", but unfortunately, I was sandwiched between two people who were not wearing masks and one kept inching up close to me. Not wearing a mask and not socially distancing is incredibly rude to everyone, but especially to the workers who are being exposed constantly. If you can't depend on people to do the right thing, then the company MUST do the right thing. Costco made the right choice. TJMAxx, your turn, NO...
