I came here a few weeks ago and had an outstanding experience, although I did not order any hibachi from the all you can eat menu, just sushi. I came here today 08/15/2019 and here goes my experience, I was meeting my boyfriend for lunch, and I kept raving about this place so I was super excited. I sat about 15 min prior to my boyfriend ordered 2 waters with lemons and a beer for myself. I go through the menu order what I wanted and made sure to write I had a mushroom ALLERGY and to keep them away from my food. (I did not submit the order as I was waiting for my boyfriend) My boyfriend shows up finally and he puts in his order. (Both orders go back at this point) He takes a sip of his water, to which I stop him IMMEDIATELY. There was a ROACH in his beverage, we call the waitress over, she apologizes and takes the cup away. We watch them take it to the back and SCOOP it out and bring the infected glass back to us. NOT A SINGLE MANAGER CAME OVER TO CHECK ON US!!!! My boyfriend doesn’t like complaining so we don't touch the water and at this point share my beer (it was a closed bottle so why not) Our food Slowly comes out, as it comes out I notice mushrooms in my food, after I has written all over I was allergic, I send her back with the food she comes out with “NO MUSHROOM” food , but guess what STILL mushrooms. I send it back and guess what guys.... THEY don’t remake your food THEY PULL THE FOOD OUT!! So if I ate it I would have had an allergic reaction and ended up in the hospital. STILL NO MANAGER AT THIS POINT!!! SO I requested my portion of the check be dismissed. My boyfriend unfortunately since he doesn’t like to complain paid for his meal. Although there was a bug in the drink and out order came out wrong 3x with an allergen request attached to it. This place needs to be...
Read moreWent here for the all you can eat hibachi and was disappointed by the quality considering the high price point. They serve small plates limited to five at a time, you can not order more until you finish what you ordered. This would be fine, but some items are difficult to finish because they are not good. The hibachi steak was overcooked and the vegetables were mushy, hibachi shrimp were oversalted, and the same mushy vegetables were paired with them. The tempura shrimp and chicken were good but left me wanting something with a flavor other than deep fried. The pot stickers and shumi were also fried and soaked in grease, and the coconut shrimp were inedible due to being coated in a warm mayonnaise based sauce. I think they made a mistake in the kitchen because they were extremely salty and lacked any sweetness or coconut flavor. They calamari were thick and rubbery served without lemon, this was one of the hardest things to eat, and I was glad it only came with two onion ring sized pieces. My wife had the sashimi and was satisfied, but she was limited to one plate at a time since the small slices of fish count as one item each on the five item order limit. The biggest drawback was that it took over 2 hours to get everything we ordered with the last and smallest order, taking over thirty minutes to be filled. I think the Asian buffet options in Cape Coral and Fort Myers offer a much better selection and quality for half the price. I would recommend going to one of them over this place, the only reason to pay the premium they are asking here would be for better quality and they do...
Read moreThis was our Second and LAST time to dine here. The first time we were there was opening day. The owner was there and worked the room and was an excellent experience and foods. Our second visit today, the food quality was completely different and barely edible. It's no wonder there were only 5 tables dining there. Everything was cold, room temp. Shrimp and meat were totally cold, way over cooked, tough and appeared to have been sitting around for a day or two. The meat was just as bad, cold, dry, burnt and sitting around for at least a day. The Sushi quality was less than the first visit. They couldn't even get our orders correct and several things never even showed up. The eel sauce was diluted to nearly clear and flavorless. Unlike the very dark brown it's supposed to be. I never leave reviews but this was such a bad experience I feel sharing can save some people plenty of time, money and lousy food. I highly doubt this new restaurant will survive much longer. Not unless they serve properly cooked and raw foods as well as getting their ordering into a usable method, vs putting an X next to the listing on a plain piece of very cheap paper. Not to mention if your drink sweats, the table is wet and the paper is ruined. Spend the money and figure out a better way to place ones order. at $21 a plate plus drinks etc... I'm sure they can do a much better with their meals. We will...
