Mr. Ice Guy — Restaurant in Cape Coral

I am originally from NY, I have had the privilege to taste many great places that have awesome Italian ices, soft serve ice cream and even snow cones. However, Mr. Ice Guy has completely surprised me when I tried their home made Italian ices and I tried about 4 of them! Their soft serve and with their different toppings of cookie crunchies flavors and their dips was out of this world! I even managed to sneak in a Blue Raspberry Snow Cone, and that was a mouthful of incredible flavor! To say that I am impressed is an understatement! Mr. Ice Guy gave me a true taste of New York, and frankly the absolute best taste! Trust me, just try one thing on their menu and you will truly be overwhelmed by the amount of flavor and deliciousness! Anthony and Erica are the owners, and are so sweet and professional! I am from Brooklyn NY. One of my favorite treats was Italian ice when I lived there. Since moving to Florida I have had a difficult time finding someone to make it even close to my childhood treat. And I have had almost all in Lee County and even some in Collier County but no success. That is until I tried the MR. ICE GUY. FINALLY YES!!!! This family is from New York and they did it. From friendly greetings to free tasting and casual conversations. Even met the dad and was able to go down memory lane of New York days lol. You guys are the best and I will be a frequent flyer. Finally went to visit this place and it did not disappoint! I live in NYC and I left craving their ice cream and I don’t even feel that way when I visit an ice cream shop in NYC! I got the chance to meet the owners and they are wonderful people and also from NY. I would give my money to any small business over the big chains any day. Please support this business- the owners are kind, super friendly, they offer samples and give great suggestions on what ice creams and ice you can mix. If there’s a line it’s worth the wait, after all, you’d wait in line for a big chain like Target, Walmart or Carvel so why not a small business that’s family owned and operated?!
