Ninja Fort Myers Sushi and Thai has it going on! Grabbed a carry-out meal via their online merchant (Grubhub, not my fav) so 1 star deducted from the lack of customization/dietary needs. Otherwise food was 5 Star! No pictures to share since my to-go meal took a topple in the car and rendered it a hot mess. But I'll do my best to describe each meal- and I'll get it all again. Yum!
Shrimp Pad Thai ($16.95) but a healthy generous portion! Really robust flavors, missed my extra Kim but that's my personal preference. Shrimp cooked perfectly and plenty to go around. Ate the second half for dinner the next night. Couldn't change the "heat" in the online order which is why my star was held back. Let me add that I love fresh bean sprouts on top of my Pad Thai, added that to the notes and it was not applied again, fail on Grubhub platform.
Shrimp Pad Kee Mao Medium (I could spice this one up when ordering) and it was awesome! Medium width noodles with a Thai chili pepper for heat and amazing flavor all around. It was on the balanced savory side so it actually made the Shrimp Pad Thai more sweet tasting- like it brought out the brown sugar and tamarind in a really GOOD way. I recommend both and allowing your palate to take its journey! Also another huge portion so worth the $16.95
Next up the the $14.95 "ceviche" so I read about it and needed to try it for myself- it's really NOT ceviche. It is raw fish/sushi on a bed of greens & raw veg with a citrus dressing on top. It's really good, don't get me wrong but not the ceviche that we all really know.
Three rolls to round us out: (1) Yellowtail (nothing amazing, rice ok inside) it was just good, (2) Kapa Maki which is a cucumber and rice roll (for the kids) so as to be expected and (3) a Vegetable sushi roll that was really good. Rice inside and a good veggie protein made it a nice appetizer before our Thai noodle dishes.
We had the vegetable tempura too. It was good. Eat it fresh and quick.
Overall, really good....
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ninja Thai & Sushi Bar in Fort Myers, FL, recently, and I can't stop raving about their Pad Thai! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a memorable experience.
The restaurant's ambiance is both modern and welcoming, with an Asian-inspired decor that perfectly complements the culinary delights on offer. The staff were attentive, and knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations, setting the stage for what was to come.
Now, let's talk about the Pad Thai. I've had my fair share of this classic dish, but Ninja Thai & Sushi Bar has managed to elevate it to another level. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was a sublime balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors.
The Pad Thai at Ninja Thai & Sushi Bar is, without a doubt, a must-try for anyone in the Fort Myers area. This dish not only tantalized my taste buds but also left me with a renewed appreciation for the culinary artistry that goes into crafting such a masterpiece. I will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant to explore more of their menu, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. Five stars...
Read moreLet me start by saying that my meal was delicious and I will definitely go back, but only for takeout lol. I read some previous reviews that said the staff was "attentive" and yes this is true.. but I would say they are OVERLY attentive. There were at least three different servers that came CONSTANTLY to refill drinks. Like I mean you take a sip and they're trying to fill your drinks again. I said no to a Pepsi refill like 4 times then a dude snuck up behind me and filled it anyway. I prefer coke so I really didn't want a refill. They easily filled our waters and sodas 10 times. They also messed up both our meals. I ordered pad see ew, but they brought me pad Thai. They fixed it immediately but it was awkward bc my partner had his food and I had none. They also messed up his steak, bringing out rare instead of medium. He chose not to send it back. When we asked for a box we asked for a little extra white rice to go with his steak. They charged $3.50 for a scoop of white rice. In all my life no restaurant has ever charged me for an extra scoop of white rice. Anyway.. the food was good but I will be doing door dash or take out next time and skipping the...
