Im pretty disappointed about my experience here. I have been doing yoga for a while now and prefer to practice in studios because of the great energy and environment they provide. Ive gone to multiple studios but just came down south and was looking for one here. When i arrived the class was packed, usually when you enter packed studios people move around and make room because its a welcoming environment. But here as soon as i walked in with my family, a man and woman started saying āwhy are there so many peopleā āmust be new years resolutions can they go away why did they comeā obviously the clientele was not welcoming. I made a comment to Ashley, the instructor for my class and she said coldly āwell its not their studioā and mentioned most people come 15 minutes earlier. During the class she began about impact and intent, where ones intent might not be the same as ones impact. Well her intent im not sure of, but her impact was dismissive. I made a comment that people made negative comments when we entered, to politely say it doesnāt feel very welcoming. I didnāt mind that the class was full, and also while we didnāt get there 15 minutes earlier, we were there 10 minutes earlier and were waiting in the front where there was no one. I wasnāt expecting much but her response felt like she was saying its not my problem. My entire family felt uncomfortable. And this was their first time doing yoga, i was trying to show them how wonderful it was and instead we got this experience. And also when towels were handed out, everyone got one except for me š even though my hand was out, and even my sister received one. Obviously this is my experience with one teacher and one class so take it with that understanding. Not trying to be rude but leaving this comment as a way for some reflection hopefully on how new people to the studio or even yoga are treated. Im not sure if i received different treatment because of my size or visibly not being a while woman but just wished it was more welcoming. Hopefully this was just a one time occurrence on a busy Saturday and not a common energy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIndra is the best studio Iāve practiced in. I love all the staff. Iāve taken classes now from 8 different teacher/guides and enjoyed each one for something different and unique they bring to class. Their collective knowledge and wisdom⦠of yoga, anatomy, physiology, etc ⦠surpasses any studio Iāve been to before. The community is great - friendly, welcoming, connected. I appreciate the boutique offerings, but even without it, this studio would excel for the teachers and their expertise. Classes are challenging, never boring, and I just love them all. Even heated ⦠and I hate dripping with sweat, but Meghan and her sequences are so good that I can put up with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA lovely yoga studio. I am just getting back to yoga after some health issues. This studio has multiple classes I can take now and more that I look forward to taking in the future as my skills and endurance improve. My instructor was encouraging without pushing, which made me feel so comfortable during my class. The studio is beautiful. The lighting and temperature were perfect, and the decor was pleasing. The studio also has a beautiful selection of clothing and gifts. I enjoyed my visit, so greatly I have signed up for classes twice a week. This studio was very easy to locate and has plenty of parking. I can't wait for...
