Well we just to got see for ourselves what all the buzz about this place had been about at first glance the place looks very cozy from the outside, once inside the place is huge we had never been there so we approach a young man which we later found out was part of the management staff. He was quite friendly we expressed that this was our first visit he told us to seat ourselves that is how they do things or we could visit anyone of the activities stations if we happened to be interested in them so we walked throughout checking all the activities which there is so many but you almost have to yell to have any type of conversation near the bar. The arcade was worse than Chucky Cheese but it is an arcade only half the card swipe games worked properly and the attendant acted as if this whole experience was one big bother because the kiosk was not working properly. That is when we decided to get a bite to eat so we ordered two simple drinks amaretto and cranberry with a splash grenadine the waiter replied I don't think we have that my wife giggled and explained to the young man the bartender will be able to handle it for myself I ordered a long island pretty simple right drinks come right back just by looking you can tell one of two things they are either very light poured or they're nonalcaholic so I'm know I'm not ordering another for sure. We let that slide never said a word. We order our food very simple no substitution she order Boneless wings Honey BBQ for myself a Garbage Burger which is served with fries and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer so we step outside on the patio to pass sometime and smoke to wait for our food by the time we smoke I voice my opinion to my wife about the horrible drinks we come in and our mozzarella sticks have made it they were amazing perfectly cooked so now I can't wait for our food to come out. 20 min later my burger comes out by itself the waiter tells us they are having some issues in the kitchen he is so sorry, ok no problem burger looks amazing perfectly presentation of an all American Burger but looks are not everything the burgers were so dry it was like cardboard you could tell the cook had mashed all the juice out of them and cooked them dry everyone knows not to mash burgers c'mon you have a quality product and cooking it till there is nothing there but a cracker. It is very obvious under skilled under staffed and that is very sad this area can support a place like this and honestly it could be done with that amount of properly trained staff there is so much money being left on the table that could be turned profit but the staff have not been prepared properly and axe throwing area was absolutely disgusting so many drinks had been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have put together some feedback that I believe could be very helpful, sustaining and even creating new volume at this establishment. Iām not gonna put every detail down about Every opportunity I have came across when attending. I can tell you, there are many opportunities to improve, and grow this place into what I believe it was intended to be.
I have about two decades, experience in hotel and restaurant management, a company that facilitates operations consulting, and I have been a business owner for going on a decade now.
I would like to open the dialogue with a chairman or owner to sit down and talk about some of the things Iāve witnessed, and experiences I and dozens of other people in my network have had. Iām not going to go into detail before, but I can tell you yet to patronize this establishment and walk away feeling like the experience was good. I have spent thousands of dollars and funded A lot of parties, and just keep coming up shorthanded. The service? Not properly trained, borderline disrespectful on most occasions. I have noticed culture reflective above in the management.
Whoever owns this establishment, I will say you have so much potential at this location and a lot of unutilized ground and whatās more I donāt think I can reduce the terminology to just simply āopportunitiesā Where I come from we use that to describe issues as it is a more positive way to bring light to a place we can improve. Things I have seen go beyond that. If you are not the owner, I Am not inviting an email or any communication at this point. Iāve tried this multiple times, and it only leads to dismissal and disrespect from the ones I speak to.
I would encourage a chairman, owner, or top partner to reach out, and would love to open a dialogue and would be willing to buy dinner, and sit down and have a conversation at a place choosing on my dime.
In closing, I went to say, regarding the last comment telling me to call to book something from now on? I drove an hour to this establishment to make sure they had the booking in person because no one would answer the phone. Two different people at the establishment that identified themselves as members of management were both made aware of this. I just wanted to throw that out there
Please feel free to reach out and if you made it this far, I appreciate you at least taking the time to...

From the moment you step inside, youāre greeted by a lively ambiance, friendly staff, and a well-curated selection of craft beers and cocktails that immediately set the stage for a delightful dining experience.
During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Alyssa, whose exceptional attentiveness and genuine warmth truly elevated our dining experience. From the moment she greeted us with a bright smile, it was clear that she was passionate about her role and committed to ensuring we had a memorable meal. Alyssa was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that helped us navigate the diverse options.
We started our meal with the fried picklesācrispy, tangy, and served with a zesty dipping sauce that had us hooked from the first bite. For the main course, I opted for the pulled pork sandwich, which was generously portioned and bursting with flavor. The meat was tender and smoky, complemented perfectly by a tangy coleslaw and served on a fresh bun. My dining companion raved about the house-made mac and cheese, declaring it one of the best heās ever tasted.
Alyssa checked in on us regularly, ensuring our drinks were never empty and that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table, and her enthusiasm for the food was infectious.
To top off our meal, we couldnāt resist trying the dessert specialāa decadent chocolate cake that was rich and indulgent. Alyssa described it perfectly, and it did not disappoint; it was the ideal sweet ending to a wonderful meal.
Overall, Dogwood Social House is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a casual yet memorable dining experience. The combination of a lively atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service provided by Alyssa makes it a place I canāt wait to return to. Whether youāre gathering with friends, enjoying a family night out, or just looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Dogwood Social House is sure to impress. Highly...
