I have somewhat an addiction to this store. It is the quintessential toy store for men. I have bought many many things here and I am always checking their coupons on their app HFCoupons. The reason I am not giving a 5 star is because I went there to buy the Titanium Unlimited 200 because I had a $100 off coupon that expired that day which was 02/03/2021.Well they closed at like noon on a Thursday because of that snow storm. I called the store the next day and explained the situation to a lady I am guessing is that stores manager. She would not honor my request saying that I had a month to come in while the coupon was valid How would she know how long I knew about the coupon which honestly was only like 2 or 3 days How would she know about if I was out of town or not during the coupon expiration timeframe and in fact I was out of the country from January 10th-18th in Costa Rica She doesn't know me and what my responsibilities are. I have a 4 year old disabled daughter that can not walk and cant talk in sentence form. So just going out can be tough. Pushing a wheelchair and pulling a shoppimg cart isn't easy.
I was not happy with this lady I talked with so I called the corporate customer service number. Now the lady who's name was Rhonda that I talked with was extremely nice and helpful. She tried calling the Cape Girardeau store to try and persuade the manager to change her mind but she would not do it whatsoever. Read moreOn 12-24-2022I went to the cape store to hopefully buy a part for my 140 titanium welder!knowing that they dont carry parts i went and found a lady that i believed to be a manager and asked her if she would sell me the display part cause ordering it would take to long for i was trying tofinish a xmas gift when i broke the tip on my mig lead ,she told me she couldnt when in fact she could she just wouldnr i must say that this lady needs to be removed she has terrible customer service skills for one and she wouldnt even let me explain why i needed it so if i could return every tool i ever bought from the cape girardeau store i would in a heart beat and i would return them straight to that rude inconsiderate female that has no business working with the public, !!!! I will honestly never give that store another penny of my money i wasnt able to finish the gift i was makimg and now i havre to wait 7 to 10 weeks vefore part comes when that lady could have ordered one gave me the display and when the new one came put it back on the display but no she had to be one of those people who likes to see people in pain and frustration never again will that store see my money if i could give negative stars this store...
Read moreWent in to buy a weight distribution hitch for the RV we’re getting. We tried to find it ourselves but didn’t realize it’s not kept on the shelf and overlooked the tag on the shelf.
They were somewhat busy since it was a Saturday, and I was working on public access training with my service dog in-training, so instead of wandering around to look for someone to help we went up to the register.
They called someone to meet us by the hitches and by the time we got back over there an employee was waiting. He told us they keep them in the back and since it’s heavy he’d get it on a cart and bring it to the register for us. He quickly brought it up front while we were waiting in line, and once we checked out he loaded it into the truck for us.
I’ve read enough great reviews on this hitch I felt comfortable buying it instead of the $800-$1000 hitches it compares to. We did get their warranty so if we have any issues we can exchange it without the box or receipt. That peace of mind is well worth it. That’s one thing I love about Harbor Freight.
