The main dishes was okay. My chicken taco salad real was flavorless. The salsa tasted more like tomato sauce no flavor. Then we get the bill and the call the real total the discount price bc the charge you extra $4.00 if you pay with card. When i asked why for the extra charge to make sure it was not a biult in tip they could not answer me just said it was not a tip and ask if i wanted to talk to manager bc it would not be taken off. If they are going to charge extra to take a card it should be posted before you order so that would solve questions and don't call the orginal price a discounted price because it is not discounted. A discount price would be paying less than orginal price. I only gave it two star bc my husband did like his plate and they have glass bottle pepsi. Amazing service and phenomenal food! From the owners, management, kitchen to the wait staff, everyone is constantly moving, ensuring customers have what they need and delivering an excellent dining experience. Best Mexican food in Cape, hands down. We had the queso to start with jalapeños, excellent and the salsa was very fresh. Deluxe nachos were piled high and delicious. Tamales and carne asada tacos were spot on. Triple fajitas were cooked perfectly, great flavor, hot, freshly made tortillas and veggies cooked well done as requested which never happens, even when I ask at every other restaurant. Muy Bueno is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Cape Girardeau. When I lived there I ate there are several times a week over a period of years. The food is consistently excellent and service is likewise. It is a family-run business and the owners are always pleasant and enthusiastic. Once you become a regular there you are treated like family and they know what you like and they have it waiting for you without asking when you come in. The food there is easily as good as or better than anything I can find in St Louis and anytime the I am in Cape Girardeau on business or pleasure I make it a point to stop in and I am always greeted the same as I was when I lived there.
