The atmosphere is point on! Relaxed and sophisticated. Comfortable setting both indoor and out. The courtyard is clean, and the fountain adds to the ambiance.

The beer. There is something for everyone!! The sour was great, the beat and mead were a surprise. We try all brews when visiting a new place. It would be nice if they offered pours individually. They offered 4 tastes to a flight and had 7 brews, we asked for all, and they charged for 2 full flights. In the grand scheme, it's not that big of a deal, but something to consider. We did go back to fill the 8th glass with a recommendation of the server.

The food. Holy cow! The pate was perfect, the stuffed mushrooms were delicious and the burger.. OMG..the burger would keep you coming back!

Had burgers, appetizers and beers on July 5. Parked on the street right by the gate. We almost had the place to ourselves. The weather was perfect for a July lunch. The food was excellent. The cost was very very reasonable. Great atmosphere. Come on Cape Girardeau! I couldn’t believe this place did not have more business that day at lunch. I spent less here than at most chain fast food places. Better, fabulous food, better atmosphere and beer. To top it off, it is dog friendly! What’s not to love? I looked, there are only 3 dog friendly places listed in downtown Cape and this is one. Cape needs to support this place. What a gem for any town. As soon as I entered two employees greeted me which is nice, I was wanting to try one of sandwiches, but was informed the exhaust hood for their oven was not functioning so they couldn't cook anything, which is ok things happen that are out of your control. I got two beers to go the sour belly plum and Arik, both tasted great, I also ordered the lil muncher, which is fine my only wish it had more meat variety and a bit more meat as it is a bit cheese heavy, but not a big deal overall an enjoyable side, I wouldn't personally mind they're being peppercinis added but that's just my preference. Overall a decent place and would recommend and will try again. Hopefully they get Juni in stock again as I really did...
