Kathy, you’ve made this bar & lounge a staple in Downtown Cape Girardeau. Come here for more than just a good time, grab a bite to eat while you watch the games on the big screens.. or make your way towards the dart boards.. step outside to a huge covered patio equip with seating, a stage for live music, fans & smoking is allowed + the outdoor mini bar..(also has A/C restrooms that are SO NICE) then you keep walking over to an actual adult playground with life size beer pong, cornhole, all the fun things! The crowd is a broad mixture of all ages - possibly the strictest on ID’s so you know you’re not going to be surrounded by underRagers which is not only the law, but awesome & comforting 😂 So, if you’re in Cape for a night, and you’re reading this review right now, go to The Library! The owner Cathy has discriminated against multiple black customers that go to the Library. My encounter: So last night the owner refused to give me water for my clearly intoxicated friend until I showed her receipts that I've been buying from her. She said that water doesn't make her money. After I showed her my bank statement that had 3 transaction from The Library she said that I didn't spend enough and still refused to get me water and demanded that I tip her if she did. Several people noticed what was happening and said they didn't get asked that and was confused on why she wouldn't give me the water even after showing her I've been buying from her throughout the night. Excellent atmosphere for relaxing. Comfy outdoor furniture with a spacious patio. Beautifully decorated and clean. Good go or and good drink selection.
