So, this was our first time here and it was very… mid. The workers were very nice! However, they have exactly one table for parties bigger than 4. We had five people and sat in a little back room. It was kinda nice to have the quiet seclusion but just kind of odd lol. Also, the place is so full of smoke from the pizza oven. You can see it in the air heavily and it’s been a few hours since we left and we all still smell like smoke and are having eye irritation. The wine glasses we got were also very dusty and cloudy. We ended up just wiping them down with napkins and just going with it.
Onto the food. Two of us there were vegetarians so we got the spinach and artichoke pizza. It’s only about a 10 inch pizza and it was… okay. It didn’t really have a taste, which is hard to explain. Another member of our party got the honey hot pepperoni pizza. There was no hotness to it but a lot of honey just pooled all over the top. Another member got the smash burger, they liked it. And our final member, the person whose birthday we were there for, got the Philly. They said the sandwich itself was spicy and had more bread than filling ratio and that the chips were very salty, but otherwise it tasted fine. We got the chicken fried potatoes as an app and they were VERY good! We waited over 40 minutes from the time we ordered until everyone had their food, which seems long but maybe it’s normal?
I’m impartial on if it’s “worth the price” because prices on things are odd at the moment with the economy. It’s what you’d expect to pay going to a locally owned start up restaurant.
I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, it was just fine. The visit didn’t turn me off from ever going there again but it also didn’t add the spot to my local favorites. We’ll visit again eventually but honestly the smoke is the biggest issue. Just needs better...
Read moreMy fiancé and I had an incredible experience at Encore Pizzeria + Kitchen. The food was absolutely phenomenal—we split two pizzas: the Vodka Chicken Parm and the Alfredo Pizza, along with an order of their Chicken Fried Potato and the Chopped BLT Salad with avocado ranch. Every bite was memorable, but I honestly have to say—this is the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Before ordering, I asked for clarification on the Chicken Fried Potatoes since there wasn’t a description on the menu. For anyone wondering, they’re slices of potato with a crispy fried chicken-style breading (no actual chicken), served with their signature fry sauce—which was delicious, offering a sweet and tangy flavor that complemented the crispiness perfectly.
The Alfredo Pizza was super creamy and flavorful, while the Chicken Parm Pizza had amazing depth and richness. The Chicken Fried Potatoes were perfectly crisped and addictive. The Chopped BLT Salad was fresh and flavorful—the only minor note is that the bacon bits could’ve been chopped smaller, as they were a bit hard, but still really tasty since it’s real bacon.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were fantastic. Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend. We’re already planning...

Salad offerings are all delightful and are exactly enough for two to share, or for a tasty meal for one. Mediterranean salad has crispy 'flash-fried garbanzos' as one of the toppings but creative little surprises like that are no exception, more like a 'rule.' You'd kinda like a glass of wine, but... Do it! - it's not insanely priced . "Artist in the kitchen!" and thoughtful, considerate, attentive, friendly service, every last time. Indoor 'courtyard' feels unexpectedly like an outdoor, sidewalk café vibe. Leave your criticism in the parking lot - you won't be needing it here. Friends or family in town? Take them to Encore. Bored and hungry on a Tuesday afternoon ? Head out to Encore. No real reason? Just go. Will we be back? Just try getting...
