Imo's Pizza used to be a great location to receive quality (and quantity) pastas, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. Unfortunately, after their relocation from Broadway to Kingshighway, the quality (and quantity) of food has diminished severely. I used to order food from Imo's restaurant weekly, and I almost always ordered the same items. I was always impressed by the deliveries I had received, which is why I kept returning. Imo's had become a staple of my and my daughter's weekly routine. Sadly, after their relocation that had to stop.
The pastas containers we began receiving after their relocation were only being filled to half their usual amounts, and occasionally the containers themselves were half containers rather than full. Not only that, but the pastas we received were consistently made incorrectly or were missing critical ingredients.. like meatballs. If you pay almost $8.00 for spaghetti with meatballs for your daughter, you expect there to actually be meatballs in the order when it arrives. I think most people would also expect that if the portion sizes you were receiving were halved in size, the price would adjust to match. That is not the case, sadly. You are paying the same price for half the food. If that weren't irritating enough, the meat sauce that we've received on our pasta as of late has been very obviously either watered down, or improperly mixed.
The salads, which you would think would be very simple to make, also dropped in quality. While previously you would receive a salad to order and proportioned based on what you placed on the website, now it seems as though they prefer to give you the bare minimum of vegetables and extras you've ordered. They also seem to have halved the amount of dressing you receive with your basic order. Did I mention that the chopped salad are no longer chopped? They decided that instead of continuing to dice your ingredients and place them neatly inside of the containers, they would rather haphazardly throw pieces of vegetables very clearly cut for use on their pizzas onto a wad of lettuce and call it a day. I can't tell you how irritating it was, also, to find my fork buried in the middle of my salad. How does that even happen?
I've only rarely ordered their sandwiches, but the times I have since their relocation have also been a disappointment. They're crammed into tinfoil, crushed, and just tossed into the delivery bag. I had to use a fork to eat them. That's never been the case before. That was honestly the most infuriating thing that I've dealt with from them since the move. A child can make a sandwich, but people being paid far too many dollars per hour can't manage to do it despite it literally being their profession.
I will not be ordering food from Imo's again until their GM realize that the new management and staff they've hired since relocating do not hold a candle to their previous staff, and can't complete basic...
Read more4 stars for these reasons The good : the staff is very friendly. Super nice. They greeted me and we talked for maybe 10 minutes. Thank you so much for your great communication services! Not bad but not great : I had talked to the employee about how I planned to get someone by 10. So they wouldn’t have to wait. Asked if I was going to hang here. Said it wouldn’t be long, so I stayed. But it’s 10:10pm now and it’s not out. I would expect it to be since the order was sent in at 9:30pm. That’s 40 minutes. I’m no pizza expert by all means but it doesn’t take that long to cook especially since they were busy the oven is already going to be hot! Also a lot of profanity, but what’s new that’s the world nowadays hard to keep it quiet. Also, one of the employees had sat down in the lobby and was on their phone went back inside and didn’t wash their hands and then proceeded to serve food. Maybe suggest covering tattoos, but again everyone has those so it’s not new. Just something to think about. New building better employees, right! I expect to get my moneys worth both from the food ordered and the expectations of the employees...
Read moreI have ordered from imos for a while. I loved they’re wings. Every time I ordered they’d end up being 15 minutes late. Sometimes even forgetting half my order after waiting an hour to get it. Tonight I sat outside so they didn’t have to knock or get very far from they’re car since it’s coke and late. I sat outside for over an hour and then I decided to call the store. They lady was rude and said he tried to call and stopped by but nobody was out there. I never had a missed call from anyone and no cars stopped. They already took the money and I asked for a contact free delivery. So if your not outside your house then you don’t get your food? I thought you would leave it on the door step. She ended up hanging up on me. She said the guy was back before closing but the delivery time said 5 minutes after they closed. so I felt bad and have a tip. Thank goodness I got my money back cause they won’t get...
