The Donut Palace — Restaurant in Cape Girardeau

My kids and I, love this place. I usually have no complaints what so ever. But today was different. I ordered a dozen donuts and three sandwiches. I stated I wanted 2 of each of the four flavors of cake donuts that they have and two apple fritters and two long johns. The guy at the window said, i threw in two extra for ya. Before I drove off. I get home and I have exactly 12 donuts. My order was wrong / there was no red velvet cake donuts and he threw in two random ones i didn't ask for. When I had already told him the 12 flavors I wanted. And then told me he threw in two extra. In which he didn't. I got: 2 apple fritters 2cake donuts 2 Blueberrie cake donuts 2 long johns 2 chocolate something donuts 1 twisted donuts 1 cream filled donut And I payed 40 something dollars. Wasn't happy about...

Love this place! Been coming here on and off for a while but recently have been enjoying my donuts more than usual. I love the service and the people here. The dining area is very nice and cozy, like chilling at a friend's place and just vibing, the donuts are top tier. In my opinion, they're the only truly great donut place in the area. Yes. The donuts here are that good. The owners are always eager to let you try new things and sometimes they'll throw in a freebie just to encourage it (this is how I found out I like apple fritters!)

So yes I always recommend Donut Palace to people when they ask about breakfast or donut places. Or when they ask for another donut place. These guys deserve...

Donuts were fabulous! Spoke with owner for a hit while munching away at deliciousness & sipping some brewed Joe. Not from area but will be a must stop next time in the area. This establishment backs the blue, appreciates fiest responders & military folks. The environment is small but very friendly, extremely clean and very tasty. Felt very welcomed and appreciated!
