Blend Tea and Crepe Lounge — Restaurant in Carbondale

I’m going to be honest, this wasn’t really my cup of tea. Me and my boyfriend got a brown sugar milk tea and taro milk tea both with supposedly brown sugar boba. The price for both was 8.00 dollars not bad but I do understand why..there was no unique flavor like other places have. The brow sugar tasted straight up like whole milk nothing else, the taro wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good. The boba didn’t even have flavor like claimed..it was chewy and flavorless. Don’t get be started on the environment..there’s big spots on the ceilings, still Christmas decorations set up from last year, cobwebs in the corner of the walls. It would be a nice cozy environment if it wasn’t so bland you could literally buy SHEIN decorations for a cheap price if anything to put in there to give it a lighter and exciting environment. this place is an untapped goldmine!!! it’s on a beautiful property with a garden out front, the building is very large for a cafe, it’s right next to a college campus, the food and drinks are wonderful…. but the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place is horrible. the aforementioned garden is unkept and a disaster. lacking doesn’t even properly describe the interior.. it’s like the worst setup i’ve ever seen. inside are shabby and cheap tables and chairs, the lights are dim, the ceiling is dirty and leaking, the walls are really outdated and a super ugly color. clearly, nobody has put any effort into turning the place into a presentable establishment. it’s really disappointing. i know if they prettied it up they’d have tons more business. good food can only...

I am re-newing my older review because I am always comparing all the cafe's, fast coffee shops, and others to Blend- hungry? blend. thirsty? blend. happy? go to blend. need to have a place to study? also blend. Sooo affordable and of course there's something for everyone on the menu that's along the lines of iced/hot tea and sweet/savory crepes.

The owners are adorable and so so friendly, they cater and answer questions and give suggestions if you want to try something new, and like all good businesspeople, know how to handle any rowdy costumers that might come in.
