Foliage — Restaurant in Carbondale

I used to order from here exclusively, and I never had a problem. I sent everyone I could their way, as this was the best Chinese food in town. Last night, my husband and I ordered and received our food at 9pm soggy and cold. We had to call the restaurant three times to find out if the driver even left, and we even gave them the courtesy of meeting the driver at the end of our driveway so he wouldn't have to be cold or risk getting stuck or falling on ice. Our food was late and gross, and we had work at 6am. So, we tossed the food and opted to call the next day after work. We called today, only to be told that they would not replace the order because they wanted their soggy, disgusting food back before they'd replace the order. They offered me 50% off, with no guarantee that my food wouldn't turn up like this again. If I had brought the food back, it would have been even more disgusting and would have provided zero evidence of my experience anyway. So, I tossed it before my cats even ate it. Disgusting business practices and the owner should be ashamed of how cheap they are and how terribly this place was run. I was told this was my problem. Order was delivered to our house and the food was really dry there was no sauce on our chicken. It was dried out and hard to eat. We throw it out because its inedible and decided to call to try to get my order remade after spending $40. The lady was nice about it, she said they were busy and she understood, she assured me it would get it remade and delivered. Okay great! The order shows up an hour later and the driver demands our old food. Why? I don't know. Its in the trash. He calls who im assuming is the owner & the driver stood there with the owner on the phone arguing with us over the phone saying we have to exchange the food to get our remade order. We tell them that we dont have it and its in the trash. Nobody over the phone said we had to exchange anything. We threw it away because it was inedible. He says well next time you have to exchange we dont give away food. Okay so maybe you should have made it right the first time! Why would you want old food anyways? Needless to say we...

I just placed an order. Not even an hour ago for sweet-and-sour chicken. The guy delivers it doesn't even ring my doorbell just yells through my door that he's here only to find out that there was no sweet-and-sour sauce with my sweet-and-sour chicken, so I call the restaurant and the lady who answers it is very rude, only to tell me that they are out of sweet-and-sour sauce and hangs up on me. Now I placed the order online. My phone number is printed right on my receipt. They could have called me to say " I'm sorry we're out of sweet-and-sour sauce. Do you want something else?" But no, they deliver it anyways and don't tell me that they're out of it and then hang up on me when I call to inquire about it. This will be the last time that i'm ordering from...
