Sal's Bistro — Restaurant in Carbondale

Each time I've been here, it has been stellar. Their salads are delicious, fresh, and gorgeous creations, and the sandwiches come on the yummiest gourmet bread - perfectly toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. The selection of fresh ingredients used is overwhelming. In fact, my one suggestion for improvement might be to offer more of a menu to give people a starting point when ordering. It's wonderful that they'll literally make you anything you come up with, but it can also be hard to think of what you want from so many choices.

Highly recommend this place! The ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The sandwiches were toasted so well and a generous size. The salad was incredible - such a big portion and perfect to share. We were very impressed. You are able to choose every single ingredient for yourself and the owner is awesome about talking you through it and very patient.
