Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Carlsbad

After the closing of TWO local Pizza Hut locations, I've finally come back to Domino's, and I wasn't disappointed! My first pie was good, but WAY too much garlic on the crust. BE SURE to remove that option when ordering... then I reluctantly ordered another yesterday and made it a tough one; half and half, veggie on one half, pepperoni on the other, no garlic on the crust... and it was perfect.

Not only perfect, but the first time I've seen a half and half made where each side was CLEARLY separated. No Pepperoni on my wife's half made her and me happy. My side was loaded with perfectly cooked pepperoni, excellent sauce and the entire pizza was cooked to perfection, and all of it only $7.99 for a large? Excellent! Great Job Domino's.

On an business / employee note, Steve B. there is such a nice guy and very helpful. The place is easy to get to and very clean inside and super organized. If you order online, you're handed your pizza inside and cya later. At Pizza Hut , even if you paid online, you had to wait for them to ring it anyway so you can be handed a receipt to sign that give you the "opportunity" to leave them a tip. Domino's doesn't expect or seemingly hint for a tip when you pick up. I love that. Yes, I still tip with walk-in when I feel like they went out of their way for me, of course.

I have ordered from this Dominos over 20 times now and can honestly say that after the first few orders my pizzas started to degrade until today have received the very last pizza I will ever order from any Dominos. What they managed to do to what used to be my favorite Pan Made pineapple ham pizza is unspeakable - it looked just as disgusting as it tasted. There was no crust and soup like cheese mixed with sauce and some completely black pieces of ham (almost evaporated) floating in it. I mean... I am no chef but I bake better pizzas than half of the uneatable stuff I get from them. I cant believe I tipped that guy 5$ on a 15bill (with 3 of it already being delivery charge) for that piece of pizza. Screw dominos! I wish I took the picture or finally called the manager but it was so disgusting to even look at that I smashed the thing into trash where it belongs; I wouldn't be writing this review but it was not the first or second or even third pizza I threw away...

Honestly, not sure how some of these other people are getting wrong orders, bad food, or weird charges. I moved to Oside about 1 year ago now and this place popped up as "my store" on the app so Ive been using it ever since. On average I say Ive ordered at least 2-3 times per month, sometimes more, all through the app almost always in the evening or late at night . This place is great, pizza is always loaded with toppings, always hot, always cut, order is always right, and the delivery is great. With that being said the occasional half cut slice (i mean literally maybe once it happened i cant even remember) and 20 minute delivery drive for a 5 minute route does happen, but really, who cares? Cut or not its good and delivery means delivery not an ER Ambulance rush. The food is great, people are always nice even when I only have laundry coins for tip or forget any cash to tip all together, and I will continue to order from this awesome place for as long as Im around....
