Pure Green - Juice Bar Carmel — Restaurant in Carmel

I have mixed feelings: on one hand, I love their smoothies and I often see the owner working behind the bar with his staff. It’s great to see such a hands-on owner. Their smoothies are fresh, made with clean ingredients, and taste fantastic. Their location is incredible, and it’s great to grab a smoothie and walk along the Monon.

On the other hand, I find the price and tip recommendations excessive even for Carmel. You can’t justify asking for a 25% tip for counter service. Especially when the smoothies are $12+. The service is not always helpful or particularly kind. And lastly, the drinks are often put on the counter without identification (eg at coffee shops, they call your name). I’ve had my smoothie mixed up with another persons more than once.

Overall, I come occasionally for a special treat because the smoothies are just that good. But the excessive price and tip choices keep me from...

We partnered with Pure Greens, Midtown Carmel, for a fundraising event. They really added to the event and I hope we can partner with them again. They were extremely generous with their time, money, and service and clearly reflects their honest character and authentic desire to help the community.

The over 500 attendees (adults and kids) loved their juices and smoothies. Parents especially appreciated a healthy option and their line was always long (and without complaints).

Fortunately, I had the chance to get some of their cold press juices at the event. I consider myself very healthy and seek out quality and minimally processed foods and drinks. Although I don't live in Carmel and hate traveling N, I know I am addicted to their juices now and will gladly make the trip. They...

Yesterday, was my 2nd time eating there and they continue to exceed my expectations. When I walked in, they greeted me promptly and I noticed that the restaurant was clean and the displays were well organized.

Once, again, I ordered the Pure Green Acai Bowl and added strawberries, Almond Butter & honey. It took them approx. 5 minutes to make it, but perfection takes time. As a result, the bowl was neat, colorful and so delicious.

While I was there eating, they turned on some Christmas music. It was at an appropriate volume, plus it is a warm and friendly environment, so that was an added bonus. Congrats to the ownership and staff for making this such a pleasant and stress...
