RIZE Carmel — Restaurant in Carmel

Everyone has been raving about Rize and after having ordered out I am wondering why it has taken me so long to eat here. This review is after ordering for take away. I shall leave a new review after dining in next time. :)

The lady who answered and took my order was super nice and helpful, which I always appreciate because I usually have food questions, lol. I also ask questions usually to see what kind of management an establishment is under. This isn't always an accurate representation as new staff do occasionally go through training, but it's a pretty good starting point especially with nicer places.

We arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and went inside to pay. Our food came out as soon as we were finished paying, so all in all I'd say from the start of the phone call to walking out with our food it was maybe 17-18 minutes, alotting for questions and answer time as well.

As you can see this food is so fresh and colorful. It tastes even better than it looks! They pride themselves on a rotating seasonal menu focused on local ingredients. Pictured here is their Mushroom Toast with breakfast potatoes. 10/10, I would definitely eat this...

New spot to visit in Carmel! We visited for "brunch" on an early Sunday afternoon recently. Pretty much walked right in because we sat on the patio. It was a pretty warm day, but we jumped under one of the tilted umbrellas and enjoyed the warm breeze. We had the biscuits and gravy, chorizo omelet and the maple waffle. ohmigosh ... the food was delicious and the server was spot on taking care of us. The food was hot and the flavors delicious and we also tried the homemade pop tart, which was a delicious combination of nutella and home made dough .. excellent! The food took a while to get to us and it wasn't that busy, so that's the reason for the 4 stars, but I'm looking forward to our next visit and moving that rating up to 5 stars! A little pricey compared to other spots in the area, but it was (almost) worth it. Give it a try and see...

We had a brunch meal with friends today. It's important to me to find good food that is safe for my wife with her food allergies. Fortunately, Rize is a Cunningham restaurant, and they are well known for being good to people with food allergies.

Kristy, the GM at Rize, took the time to answer my questions and help me navigate the menu. Bailey the manager on duty in the front of the restaurant was incredibly helpful and kind.

The food was delicious, well presented, and everyone at our table LOVED their food. It's an amazing gift to give my wife when she can go out, eat a delicious meal, and be safe doing it.
