FE MORAN SECURITY SOLUTIONS — Local services in Carmel

I’ve been a customer of F.E. Moran for 4 1/2 years. I’m now moving out of my home so I called to let the company know that I will no longer be needing there services. I called the 1-800 number on there web site. I spoke with a very nice lady that said there was only one person in the whole company that could take care of cancel the service and he was no longer in for the day so she would have to have him call me. Okay sounds good so far. Then I get a phone call from a gentlemen a week later that Informs me that I still have 7 months on my contract. Okay I’m thinking no big deal I only have 7 months leave it can’t be that much to cancel, I’ve had there services for 4 1/2 years as a very loyal client.... So I ask the gentlemen on the phone how much it will be to cancel at which he tells me $1200.00.... I ask there’s got to be a mistake I only have 7 months left... he said no sir, no mistake, that’s how much it will be! I asked the man how could that be? I only pay $49.99 a month times 7 months equals $349.93! how in the world did u come up with $1200.00? The gentlemen informed me that was the cost of the equipment when they installed it 4 1/2 years ago and there was nothing that he could do.... so after 4 1/2 years of being a loyal customer where I’ve paid $2699.46 I have to pay $1,200 to cancel my service 7 months early and there’s nothing they would do to help at all... I personally find this to be very bad business but I hope this help someone else to make the right decision of going with a different company that will work and cares about there customers!

Started out a 1yr ago had Cody come and hook me he did a awesome job but then as months went by or should I say year I started having all kinds of technical issues and I'm guessing this is there way of making there money by charging $45.00 service call so i paid 2 or 3 times for a malfunction sensor then to upgrade my internet then to have my camera monitor adjusted because tech that came to upgrade Internet motioned it facing my neighbors house. But I had to pay anyway so then camera just started going off at night only ALL night so the Office mgr Selena called herself messing with it and totally just malfunctioning the system to point where if air blew notification sent if it rained it sent notification if anything but a human set it off yes they tried several times free at charge but git to point NOTHING accomplished and they just didn't care for my needs so they were quick to send cancellation form instead of keeping a customer. But it's Okay I would never recommend this company to anyone will call BBB and state to make complaint. One thing goid came out off it I'll be able to throw into my bankruptcy and have since signed up with another company that provides WAY better service and products for 10.00 more but awesome reviews. My reviews is mainly on there OFFICE REPS feel if your not certified WHY mess with system if your NOT your job. They CAN'T keep them office help I went thru 5 different people in a year and from good to worst...

We knew we wanted a security system, but we weren't exitede by the thought of doing all of the research, and we wanted to make sure we really would understand whatever we got.

Trent talked is through all of our options, but at NO POINT did it feel like he was trying to up sell us on things we didn't need or didn't want - I absolutely hate scuzzy salesman that talk over you and try to tell you what you need, but Trent was always very genuine and really helped us get what we needed.

Installation was able to happen just one day later (!) And in the evening, no less!!

Our technician was named John, and again, we had wonderful service. He was very friendly and approachable when we had questions, he never felt in a rush to leave, he walked us through using all of our products and even he left we felt confident that we knew what we were doing!

All in all, I'd definitely recommend F E Moran to anyone looking for a security system, and I'm definitely going to...
