Di Maggio's Pizza — Restaurant in Carmi

My wife and I both had the Pete salad. It's very good, my wife always gets it. I usually get lasagna that's very tasty as well. The service is great, waitresses are very friendly and cheerful, prompt and attentive. The food is always fresh and good. The place is starting to show its age, however. They tried to do a little bit of drywalling a while back and they just never really finished it. Kind of looks a little beat up, but it's a good place to eat. I recommend this place. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the place is not kept up as it should be or could be.

My husband and I were on a long trip and decided to stop here to grab take out before we got to the hotel. I got the tortellini and he got a regular cheese pizza. The tortellini was so bland I couldn’t believe it but the worst part was the tomato gravy was ketchup! Same for the pizza! It was so bad we had to throw the food away which I can’t stand wasting food but it was just absolutely disgusting. If you want good Italian food don’t go here. Nothing Italian about it. I ordered a pizza here and ive ate many pizzas in my life the sauce they use is not it im sorry. Was very very disappointed i took the pizza home and gave it away and was asked if it was the pizza you buy at walmart freezer section .

I came here because of all the 5 star reviews but in my opinion godfather pizza is way better .
