I have been wanting to dine here for the last two years, I left here very upset and disappointed tonight. First, I want to explain that I never leave negative reviews, I may rate a place on the lower stars but never put down a business, a server, or out right write a nasty thing about a place...EVER! I am a foodie, I love a great place just like any other foodie out there, as someone who believes no matter what your income, or where you live or what appearance you present, every single customer should be treated fairly and with respect. Yes, there are people out there who do not tip fairly, or are never happy, but I am NOT that person. My reservation was for 4:30 a party of 4, my 50th birthday, meeting friends I have not seen for a very long time. We ordered our drinks and waited, so we received them 15-20 minutes after our reservation time, we then browsed the menu while we had our drinks, and ordered when our server came back ten minutes later. We ordered starters and salads to begin. Our server was wonderful btw. By this time it was after 5:15-5:30 when we received them. We ate, our main meals came by 5:45. She asked us if we would like other drinks, they were ordered. We continued to converse and eat, then 15 minutes later, we had our table cleared by a lady who took our drinks that were not finished, including our appetizer that she did not ask if we would like boxed up...$18 btw, then left. Our server stops by and asks us if we wanted dessert, yes, and she tells us that we could go and eat it in the next room if we chose and order there. It is a separate cafe room, but we said that we would like to stay at our table. So bizarre.... then our desserts come, we eat them and by 6:30, the manager/owner comes over and says how was everything? We said good then he proceeds to take our leftovers and says "we will now need your table because the next reservation is here" Wow, Wow, Wow.....disrespectful, rude, and classless....We will never be back. Just make sure you eat fast.....real European dining since they repeat the portion sizes are European....dine for hours. I guess the $400 bill was not good enough to sit a little longer and...

Unfortunately, I should’ve really believed all these bad reviews. There were four of us dining and none of us enjoyed our meals. Upon arrival, and we did have a reservation, we were told oh So politely that we had to leave in two hours. So much for a relaxing dinner and conversation. Appetizer antipasto plate was OK, the bread and oil was just that crunchy bread and oil no spices or seasonings in the oil. First course of soup and salad, soup bland without flavor, salad was tasty but quite small. Next our entrées include the gnocchi, which was very bland, tasted like instant mashed potato balls with very little sauce. I actually had to request more sauce, because it barely covered the mashed potato mess. Sauce tasted like tomato paste and water, no flavor. The carbonara was also flavorless and boring. Looked like noodle soups. Sauce was very watery/liquid state. We all switched plates to see if everything was really that bad and yes it was. Presentation - no extra flair, taste- none. Price high for small portions but if the flavor was good it wouldn’t have mattered. I wouldn’t pay $1 for a meal here. We did not stay for dessert, but did go to the attached bakery and bought 4 different desserts to take home. Loved the bakery atmosphere and was excited to go home and eat the dessert after I made a new dinner because we all left hungry. Unfortunately the desserts were as bad and bland as the dinner. Grew up in an Italian immigrant home and everything was scratch made and authentic. That’s also what this place claims. Impossible. Never would recommend. Never will return. I have no idea how this place has any...

Really nice place! Very good! EDIT: I upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars. I ordered take out and hell's fire was i impressed. My last meal here was with a group of 10+ from work, we shared a bunch of things and I guess I didnt get a chance to chow down on everything i wanted...so I gave 4 stars because what i tried was good. but last night i got to order what I wanted and consume every last bit. The gnocchi was SUBLIME, the crest of every fluffy pillow of potato just kissed with flame long enough to blister the parmigiana reggiano...the sauce a perfect 10... even the bread and oil were good (although i suggest offering your balsamic vinaigrette with the bread as it was also fabulous)..TIRAMISU any old Nona would be happy to serve at her home... To serve a meal THAT GOOD in take out containers is just a feat of pure excellence. 5 stars all day. My only 2 complaints, my arugula and radicchio was a little heavy on the radicchio, and there wasn't any leftovers so i dont get to eat this marvelous food again today. Well done Chef. If you enjoy "next level" Italian classics done properly, you will NOT be disappointed here. I HIGHLY suggest you try these gnocci, I have not had better in my 41 years on this earth. They are now the bar all other restaurants gnocci are measured against. Bread and salad were just right. Dessert was fantastic. 5 stars all the way. I now look at Carnegie as my food mecca. Between LeoGreta and the gnocci, Slice on Broadway for their NY pizza and the coffee shops brownies, i could eat for the rest of my life in the span of 2 or 3 city blocks and be quite...

I’ve tried coming here prior to this visit, but they close early and lock their doors earlier, so be sure to observe those times on their site. I finally got in and sat at the bar on a Wednesday recently and enjoyed my visit! The guests at the bar were friendly, as were the staff. The menu isn’t very broad, but has just the right amount of Italian delicacies to choose from. I started with their Grandma's Bread Pizza, which was decent, but far from impressive. It lacked a decent amount of sauce and what sauce it did have, immediately soaked into the bread. The bread was great though. Next up what their Frisee & Lardon salad and this was excellent! Best thing I had on this visit! The egg really helped make the salad that much creamier, the lardons had an amazing, gentle smoke to them, which really helped make this feel like a taste of being in a country cabin in the winter! My entrée was their Linguini Carbonara… The pasta was a perfect texture; spot on! The overall flavor of the dish was more on the side of the pasta water, rather than the richness from the egg and creamy cheese coming together with it. The saltiness of the pancetta was helpful. For dessert I heard they had a dessert bar area, so I went there and got a piece of their pumpkin bread pudding – This was outstanding! When served warm, it is something I will now crave!! Overall, I enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning to try their next seasonal menu.

We had the most incredible experience having our wedding at LeoGreta. From start to finish, everything was seamless and stress-free. Brittany, the venue coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Her support made the entire planning process feel easy and enjoyable. The day-of staff was also amazing. Everyone was so professional, attentive, and kind. We truly felt cared for the entire day. The food was outstanding. Our guests are still raving about it! We also ordered our wedding cake through LeoGreta’s bakery, and it was hands down one of the best cakes we’ve ever had. People haven’t stopped talking about how delicious everything was. We’re so grateful to the team at LeoGreta for helping create such a special, unforgettable day! Photos by Kathryn Hyslop Photography. Flowers by Holly Hanna Floral.
