The Bakery & Dessert Bar — Restaurant in Carnegie

I stopped in to pick up some desserts to go at the recommendation of my step sister. The prices are a little high, but you definitely get what you pay for! Everything I purchased was absolutely amazing! I chose a dark chocolate cake slice, a lemon bar and a chocolate turtle. I believe it totalled$18.

The cake was the most decadent chocolate cake I've ever had! I couldn't even finish it in one sitting and it's not that big. Absolutely amazing and It kept well overnight. I stored it in the refrigerator and it still tasted fresh the next day.

The lemon bar was delicious. Not too sweet, not too tart with a tiny bit of whipped cream & a raspberry on top of it. Heavily dusted with powdered sugar, but in a good way!

The turtle was very good. I did think the caramel was a little light.... Light on both color and flavor. But it really was good. I don't know that I'd get another one, but I also wouldn't rule out trying any other other chocolates based on this. I'm also sorta caramel obsessed, so don't let my preferences influence anybody to not buy it! My mom got one & loved it!

My first visit to this great local bakery! I've lived in Carnegie for over 3 years and had never visited before even though they have been open for over a year. I passed on the bus last week after work and noticed that they are open late in the evenings. I stopped in to get desserts for my bosses birthday. We loved everything! The tiramisu is authentic and amazing! The flourless chocolate cake is rich, dense, but not too sweet. We also enjoyed the cannolis and Italian almond balls. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. The perfect place to visit with friends for coffee and desserts, get some work done, or just hang out alone. The desserts are pricey but worth it for the quality and attention to detail. Looked up dessert on Google and this was first. Headed over out of curiosity and simply can’t wait to go back. Could not decide and the sampler was mentioned to us. Every bite was delicious. The atmosphere of the bakery and attached restaurant look so inviting. Cannot wait until we get to go to try dinner as well. Might need the dessert sampler again because I’m not sure I could...
