Welcomed by a friendly face! Loved it!
This is by far one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to since moving to Maryland.
No crazy markups just great food and quick service. A LOT of meat in my pho and I was surprisingly pleased. A lot of other places have similar prices or charge even more, when it comes it’s usually little meat and mostly noodles! NOT this place!
Pho broth is SUPER flavorful, I like to taste the broth before I add anything but I love mine spicy and with a lot of Thai basil.
I got the B3 pho Thai bo vien and my boyfriend got the pho Thai and we also had the pork spring roll (no shrimp (I’m allergic) and my bf also got a viet coffee. VERY TASTY! we make viet coffee at home and was super happy this place made it even BETTER than I do LOL!
Wish we could’ve taken photos but we were too excited to try our food that we ate it up before I got a snap!
I will say I docked a star only because I like my pho booty hole spicy that I had chugged all my water and needed one more refill to cool me off haha. Other than that this was a great experience, thank you all for making it a great atmosphere with awesome food! Maybe one day there will be hu tieu...
Read moreGoing to be critical here on their price alone because it is getting really expensive. I have been a fan of Pho Thanh Cong (previous venue) and Pho Saigon Hanoi when it first opened. I liked the newly renovated interior, prompt and friendly service, and the quality of food. Seems like a family owned restaurant which I love. It got us through during COVID with carry out orders and we were happy to be back for dine in. However their prices have been going up and it still continues to go up. I was okay with the first few times knowing the inflation and the cost of living going up post COVID.
However, now I have a hard time paying $18 for a bowl of everything pho ($16 for basic). Take a moment and think about that. What is driving up their prices to this extreme level? Is it the location? Pho Dat Thanh in Towson is charging a lot less, trust me. Is it the price of goods going up? Yes but there seems to be a premium that was added and I am having a hard time...
Read moremust've been a busy time when I was there but it wasn't crowded...yet. I was able to seat myself but waited almost 10 minutes for service. shame because it was only 1 kid working and 1 runner. there was another gentleman sitting on the side but unsure what his role was. the kid looked overwhelmed from seating customers to taking their orders to bringing water to taking phone orders to ringing up customers to making sure people coming in picking up their to-go orders are correct. very chaotic
had the staple: phở đặc biệt and coffee. not the worst, but definitely had better phở. it did come w good portion of meats but badic broth left nothing much to yearn to return. the coffee, was good. traditional style drip but the condensed milk tasted American. not the old man Longetivity brand...
overall it did it's job. nothing wowing but passable.
note: it did ended...
