Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Carolina

I visited the Pizza Hut at Mountain View Town Center (Carretera 3, Carolina) on Saturday, August 30th, in the evening, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience.

When my friend and I arrived, we requested to sit in a more private booth—one of the circular ones tucked away from the register. The server/host, Angela, explained that those booths were reserved for parties of three or more. I respected that rule and accepted being placed in a smaller booth right in front of the register and bathroom area, despite the restaurant being nearly empty (except for one large party in a corner).

However, not long after, a couple walked in and sat in one of those large booths with no objection from Angela, the manager, or any other staff. They enjoyed their meal in privacy while we were stuck in the high-traffic area where people constantly walked by to pick up orders. The inconsistency was frustrating and felt like blatant discrimination. No apology or explanation was ever offered, which left us angry and unable to enjoy our evening. We had even considered dessert, but after that treatment, we decided against it.

To make matters worse, the bathrooms were poorly maintained for a non-busy time: toilet paper was scattered out of place, faucets were rusty, and the space looked neglected. This added to the overall sense that management and staff were not attentive to customer experience.

On the positive side, the pizza itself tasted fine, though it was overly greasy with butter, which made it less enjoyable than usual.

In short, this visit was unpleasant and unwelcoming. Rules should be applied fairly and consistently to all customers, and basic cleanliness should be a given. Until this location improves its customer service training and facilities, I cannot...

The food was great, the atmosphere was good too. The service was very nice and friendly but we couldn't sit where wanted. We were assigned seating infront of the counter and everyone was sat in one section only due to no workers. Only one waitress and a manager were working. It was good service yet not as good as if they would've had more workers to accommodate all customers. The wait was extensive but the food was very good. So I had to give it a 3 for service due to lack of employees, 4 for atmosphere not being able to sit where wanted instead of next to eachother in one section crowded, yet a 5 in food because it was well cooked and very delicious. I know somethings are out of their control but I think their service could've gotten all 5s if it wasnt for those...

After avoiding Pizza Hut for several years due to past experiences with overly greasy pizza, I decided to give it another shot when I spotted an enticing discount.

To my dismay, my recent order only reinforced my previous apprehensions.

Despite specifically requesting an extra well-done pizza, hoping for that delightful toasty finish, what I received was disappointingly undercooked.

The crust was lamentably soggy, and the entire pizza was dripping in grease.

Based on this experience, I'm inclined to believe that I probably won't be revisiting any time soon.
