Sorry to leave a bad review for this well loved restaurant in Carpinteria. When we first visited in 2021 we had an excellent experience and sadly now in July 2025, our experiencing significantly declined, especially regarding food. My family of four came in around 7:30 on a Wednesday evening and my son was excited to try the fried chicken. He was super disappointed when a small chicken (5 oz) thigh arrived, which was $27. We mentioned this to the server and she also agreed that it seemed like a very small portion, especially considering the price. The manager agreed to make us another piece of chicken to go, but did not do anything on the bill to accommodate. I ordered the fish piccata, which was decent, my daughter had a pizza which was below average and my husband had the smoked salmon which was fair. It seems with all the other good restaurants opening up in Carp, especially with the new Lindon Square, Little Dom‘s will really have to up their game to stay competitive.

The last time we came we had a Fantastic brunch although we were sad they had no polenta fritters! Our server, Graham was exceptional and recommended some tasty cocktails, Paloma, Veneziana great and the grapefruit juice was fresh-squeezed! The woodear mushroom pistachio toast was super delicious. Cacio pepe very good also. The ending was a chocolate flourless made with olive oil served hot with olive oil gelato and flaky maldon salt!! This time we gathered an LA group and met here for my birthday! Matt and John were lovely and gave great recommends! Breakfast pizza and salmon pizza were fantastic. Matt recommended the oysters andvwe agreed they were some of the best and freshest we ever had . We could have eaten another dozen! Great bday at Doms! Always consistent and delicious! Thsnks for a great birthday! Molto bene! Ci torniamo!

I enjoyed the meatballs and the English peas with bacon. My wife enjoyed the swordfish. Both meals were as we expected, delicious! The waiters certainly know the items on the menu and describe them enthusiastically. That's good salesmanship. Service on drink refills was a little slow, but they apologized for some mix up in their technology. The dessert list is also quite different. All in all a good place, although a bit pricey. UPDATE: Returned last night, and while we still had a good time it was EXTREMELY NOISY so we could hardly talk among the 6 of us, the waitress was fun but she messed up the order, and to be honest for $25 the pizza was absolutely NOT worth it, and the salads which supposedly served 3-4 only served 2 max. Disappointed! Lost a star from me!

Wow, how we wish we had NOT decided to eat at this restaurant. The experience was pretty much a disaster from the start, but was a truly a total disaster by the end. First, the kale and corn salad arrived and was so spicy that we could not eat it; oddly, there was nothing in the description on the menu that indicated the salad would be spicy/peppery. Thankfully, our waitress had the salad made with a different dressing and that worked out. Then we waited for quite some time for our entrées to arrive; we’d both ordered the special, which was a crab pasta dish. When our meals were delivered, we noticed right away that they looked very unappealing. Apparently the food had been reheated extensively, causing the pasta to basically decompose into what looked like wallpaper paste in loose forms of pasta. Even the lemons that were included on top as a garnish were too hot to hold; the entire dish was a pale gray. We each took one bite and determined that the food was inedible . The food looked so bad that all we can think is that somewhere along the line, from the kitchen to the table, someone should’ve noticed there was a problem. Unfortunately, at this point, we decided to pay and leave the food on the table. In retrospect, we really regret that we chose to pay for such abominable food. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Little Dom’s! Beware. If it was possible to give zero or a negative amount of stars, that would be our...

The staff was super efficient in taking our pizza order & having it ready in a timely manner on a busy night. ( order #102 on February 21, 2022 ) However the 3 pizzas we ordered ( we were with Garrett ) were way overpriced and of questionable quality. Specifically bunches of long stemmed arugula and long thin slices of prosciuto were thrown on as toppings. The pizzas would have been easier to eat if the arugula was "baby" arugua and the prosciuto cut up prior to placing on the pizza. The crust was v. thin and the sauce & cheese may have been put on in advance of orders then run in the oven. The long slices of mostly uncooked prosucito on the pizza made for messy eating. . The ingredient costs are low, inadequately prepared, and of questionable quality. Further, even though I asked twice, I was advised that 2 pizzas may not be sufficient for 4 adults. So we ordered three. Judgement call but 2 were more than ample. Bottom line, we won't be ordering them again. The price was too high for value...

Little Dom's Seafood is my very favorite restaurant -- I can't think of a restaurant that more successfully delivers on the quality of the food; the attentiveness of the staff; and overall inviting atmosphere that makes it both the perfect drop-in spot after a long beach walk or the perfect romantic dinner spot you reserved a month in advance. This is a regular dinner spot for my partner and me, and it is always our first dinner spot on the list when friends or family come to town. I encouraged my best friend to hold her wedding reception at Little Dom's and it was far and away one of the most fun, intimate weddings I've attended, not to mention by far the best food and cocktails. We also selected Little Dom's for a 12-person family-only dinner prior to my brother's wedding. For whatever occasion you have in mind, from the most casual to the most formal, the Little Dom's team will make it exceptionally special and will work with you to make it exactly what you have in mind. Can't recommend this restaurant and the Little Dom's...
