Rosebrook Bar — Restaurant in Carroll

This is a great place to come hangout. You can chill next to the fire place, on the porch or in the their dining area. Very relaxing and good place to read a book and spend time with someone. You don't have to have a room either. Sometime we just stop by and go to just here and enjoy the luxury on a budget by just getting a tea and something cheap to share. Very fancy atmosphere. During Christmas they decorate too and it's beautiful. Very pleasant staff and food is always of high quality.

2022 Update: Not impressed with the downgrade in tea. Used to be the fancy Tea Forté pyramid tea bags with a fancy tea cup and plate with your own little kettle of hot water. And they just bring you all the sweeteners, sugar, honey, cream, etc. Now you don't get a kettle and you have to ask for stuff like cream or honey and they just bring you some cheap diner mug with some average brand tea you can buy at the grocery store. The labor shortage and inflammation has not been kind to this establishment. Hopefully things improve down the road. We'll be back...

While the atmosphere and surround landscape are breathtaking, the service was extremely poor. Perhaps we caught the staff on an off night but it was abysmal. We waited almost 30 minutes before our server showed up to greet us (after the couple next to us had to get a manager to send him over for the entire section). Then, the server was extremely short and rude when taking our order and had to verify our order of two beers... I feel worse for the couple beside us because they waited even longer, have yet to receive their cheese plate and drinks, and our server mumbled “ridiculous” after speaking with them. The couple had to register a formal complaint and spent more time at the front desk trying to put in an order and ask for service than enjoying their evening....

The view is great, but that’s the only reason to come here. Enjoy a drink with a gorgeous Mountain View in the background. But I’d only get a drink they don’t have to make like a beer or wine.

The drink list shows great cocktails but they bear no resemblance to the drink you receive. My husband’s old fashioned was watery and just not good, with normal ice instead of a large cube as advertised. The fries were inedible and the club was also bad, with stale turkey and not-toasted bread. The best part was the tomato and he doesn’t like tomatoes.

The chips and onion dip were pretty good though. Not sure why they included...
