📍 Omni Mount Washington Hotel Resort and Spa Welcome to the historic luxury resort hotel located in the White Mountains, in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. This beautiful hotel was was built in 1902 by Joseph Stickney for 1.7million dollars (about 64 million today). He wanted this resort to be a luxury escape for those who lived in the city. Stickney unfortunately died shortly after it was finished. His wife, Carolyn Stickney spent her summers at this hotel and her room 314 is said to be the most haunted. While the resort has had its fair shares of up and downs. It still stands as one of the last grand hotels in the White Mountains with so much history. It has become a paranormal hot spot where many people both guests and workers have experienced. Ghost hunters has even hunted for ghosts on the grounds. Whether you visit for a luxurious spa, are interested in history or are looking to search for the paranormal, Mount Washington Hotel has got it all. We didn’t get to stay this time around but the hotel is both beautiful and eerie at the same time. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve been there. I’m hoping to stay there some time especially during the Christmas season.
