Update: After reaching out to the corporate office I received a response from the district Manager who was very polite, understanding and accommodating to the issue. He resolved the issue in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I visited this location about 20 minutes ago and departed feeling very slighted, disregarded and borderline disrespected. It started from the initial attempt of a male employee to take my order. I explained that I wanted to wait until I arrived at the menu closest to the window to see what I wanted before ordering. The employee's response was " you didn't look at the menu back there?" I then replied there were a few cars behind me and I didn't want to have them hanging out in the street. He then just walked off. I then pull up to the menu and he appears again (feeling rushed now) I just ordered something. I get to the window and provide my method of payment and I say thank you. I then receive the order and I say thank you. Neither time did the lady say you're welcome, thanks for coming, have a nice day or anything. At this point I asked to speak to the Manager and she said that she was the Manager. I then proceeded to explain the situation with the guy previously and her lack of customer engagement. I kid you not all she said was ok.I then get almost home and one of the orders is wrong. I return and this time it's the guy at the window. I pull up and say " hey this was suppose to be an Ozark sundae" he responds " I know, she gave you the wrong one" I asked for a refund because he didn't apologize for the inconvenience, ask if he could prepare the correct order or nothing. And on top of all of that gave me a refund for the item that was correct that happened to be cheaper than the order that was incorrect. At this point I had reached an exhaustive point and I decided to keep my professionalism and proceed home. The lady wasn't a very big deal because she was bubbly, appeared to be kind and did from her body language did appear to understand my issues but the guy came off very rude, arrogant, unpleasant and negative .Needless to say I will not be returning to this...
Read moreI took my family to Andy's Frozen Custard location at 1733 E Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton, TX, on 04/04/18 at 4 pm, after picking up my kids from school. My kids wanted something that will cool them down given that the weather was sunny and hot. When we arrived at the location I saw that all the employees working around the machines and serving customers were not wearing gloves....this prompted me to ask the cashier whilst we were ordering to make sure that our ice cream order is prepared by an employee wearing gloves? I requested to talk to the manager-on-duty to explain why they're not using gloves to prepare and serve customers orders given that there is a strong chance that a customer's order maybe infected as dairy products are highly prone to bacteria and other contamination....the assistant manager by name, Isaac, that's if he gave me his real name, told me emphatically that they don't use gloves to prepare or serve customers' orders because it is not a requirement and that they don't touch customers orders directly...I found this explanation weird and ridiculous so I insisted that my order be prepared by someone wearing gloves....this manager decided to rather warn me that this will be the first and last time that he will wear gloves to work on my order.... I will like the CEO of this organization to know that rather than exposing customers to possible contamination, and disease outbreak, an incident that can easily be prevented by the use of disposable gloves to prepare and serve customers' orders....I will never visit this ice cream location again to expose my family to any possible contamination, and hopefully, other customers will consider visiting this location as well given such negligence of not wearing gloves to handle customers orders.... The CEO should take advantage of this complaint/review to do the RIGHT THING for their customers by including the culture of cleanliness among their policy: That begins with the use of GLOVES....Very Nasty Customer...
Read moreGot a concrete in to which I thought must have had hot fudge and I didn’t notice as to why my ice cream was melted upon receiving. I gave it the benefit of the doubt assuming the bottom half had to be more firm.maybe just the tip was more liquid since it had fudge. I work five minutes away, got to work and it was completely liquid. So I come back after taking one bite into which it is served in a larger cup so it was not filled up all the way to begin with. I asked them if I can get a new concrete because I didn’t realize it had hot fudge and would melt completely through. A girl told me since it was half eaten she will ask. She gets the manager and again she repeats that it was half eaten and it did not have hot fudge. I said well it was already given to me not full in the cup. She mentions oh yes because they’re served in larger cups to which I’m thinking then why are you assuming I ate half of the ice cream if it’s already not filled up to the top. Then I ask if I could just get a different concrete and just chose one that was on a picture right in front of me because now I don’t trust that whatever is in that certain concrete it’s not gonna be liquid. Then she’s like well. No, our AC was out earlier today. That’s why it was probably melted. So she excused me of eating half and was bothered to replace it but clearly said it was served in a larger cup to begin with and the AC was out as why it was liquid. Ok! I felt Really unwelcome and accused as if I really ate half of it. I am at work and do not have the time of day to do come back even though it’s 5 mins away. I did pay for full price so I want my full money is worth. And would have wished it was not such a hassle to replace it since I had just left and since clearly the ac was out. Just was shocked with the...
