China Wok Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Carrollton

I am giving this family 5 stars in these trying times. Rather than complaining about some hiccups with the flavor or temperature of food, we have been ordering from this restaurant since we’ve moved back to the area in August of 2022.

With Covid and all going on, they managed to survive as a business and continue to deliver their promise to the Carrollton community. We personally have not had any issues with the food from here. Although it does indeed taste a little different than other Asian cuisine that we’ve had, it isn’t bad food. I have never gotten sick from eating their food.

Their son is very smart and it’s very touching to see them operate their business and I can tell it makes them proud. I would rather support local, family owned businesses than greedy corporations. I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could just to cancel out the negative, personal feelings that people are reviewing them for and no hardcore facts or evidence of such claims.

A couple times we ordered late not realizing what time they closed, and instead of turning us away by saying, “we are closed already, we’ve cleaned up all”, they took our order still and made it and waited for us to pick it up. You may think it’s for the money which it may be, but they didn’t make us go hungry, is the point. They actually cared enough to “reopen” their business after closing hours, to feed someone in the community, and putting in extra hours and labor to do so.

Please don’t knock these people before you even meet them. They are genuine people. The son and mom always interact with their customers and are always smiling.

Was excited to order Chinese this evening with my boys. Places an order for Orange Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. Good got here and wasn’t hot. Orange chicken didn’t taste anything like any orange chicken I’ve ever eaten. Was a little sour and had none of the orange chicken flavor we’re used to. Chicken fried rice was also dry and rice not cooked all the way.

Very disappointed. I called to let them know and they told me there’s a new orange chicken and old orange chicken flavor. She said that I most likely got the new chicken orange chicken flavor. She goes to the back and she says I’m sorry that’s all we have is the new orange chicken flavor. With orange chicken flavor is horrible. It’s just not right I...

I spent al.ost $100 tonight for a completely disappointing meal. They charged me $10 for vegetable fried rice that only had rice, peas and carrots. They charged me $15 for shrimp fried rice that had 4 dried up shrimp, rice peas and carrots...but charged me for the extra vegetables NOT INCLUDED...they also forgot the egg. Then the pad Thai noodles were from Yesterday with 2 dried up shrimp and 2 pieces of chicken ...another $15 down the drain. Perhaps they have new owners or the 10yr old child at the register SHOULDN'T BE TAKING ORDERS!!??? This was a complete scam and fraud! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY...
