Update 11/20/24⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sandy, Kelly, and Debbie are the kindest people I have ever met and have the privilege to know. Food, Service, and Ambiance are consistently on point. We have not been here in a while, but whenever a Pho craving hits, this will always to be our go-to place. The vibe, energy, and aura of the space is welcoming. The broth to noodle ratio is perfect, the broth itself provides the perfect balance and contrast of flavor, and the meat (Brisket Pho for me; Chicken Pho for Mom) is tender and fresh. I have also tried their Banh Mi Sandwich, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and Vermicelli Noodles with Fried Egg Rolls - all highly recommended. A dish that I really want to try on my next visit is the Beef Stew. It sounds delicious! Today, we were greeted by Lilah with a smile and she showed us to our booth. She was delightful, engaging, and attentive - Mom and I enjoyed our conversation with her and she is a wonderful addition to Pho Big Bowl. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jennie and chatting with her as well. Looking forward to seeing them both on future visits. —————————————————————————— Update 7/14/23⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had to return for the egg roll vermicelli bowl! It was so amazing. Service attentive with a smile and a relaxing atmosphere. This will definitely be our regular place going forward. Trying the banh mi next visit! —————————————————————————— Sure wish I knew about this place before. After being open for 10 months, Yelp suggested Pho Big Bowl in Carrollton. First time here, and it definitely won't be the last! I already know what I want to order the next time. I just knew from the time my Mom and I walked in, that we were in for a treat. You are transported to a place that has amazing upscale vibes and you can definitely feel the energy flowing through it. The ambiance is cozy with a modern flair and is somewhere you can easily relax and unwind. We were greeted, graciously welcomed at the entrance with a smile, and promptly seated by Jacob - one of the servers. We ordered two unsweetened jasmine teas. Ice cold and so refreshing! He gave us some time to browse the menu and told us he would answer any questions we may have had. We ordered the grilled chicken spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Perfectly portioned and balanced flavors. Excellent! I was so impressed by the pho that we ordered. Mom got the white meat chicken and I got the steak and brisket. Both truly high quality meat and flavorful broth. The noodle to broth ratio was exactly what I was hoping for. Jacob checked on us throughout our meal and even brought a small portion of chili oil to our table to try in our pho to make it spicy. As delicious as it was, it is not for the faint of heart. It produces a serious and bold/intense kick and awakens the taste buds (in a good way). After finishing our meal, we chatted with Sandy, the owner. It is clear that she and this establishment cares about their customers and their enjoyment of the food. They have a loyalty club where you earn 1 point for every $1 spent and a $2.50 discount for every 50pts redeemed. And yes, they even have a Happy Hour from 2 to 5pm and $2 off large bowls of pho. We have a feeling of certainty that we will be frequenting this place going forward. Sandy - it was a pleasure to meet you and you have a great thing going here! We will see you again soon!

I am so happy that I tried this new Pho restaurant! The restaurant itself was very clean and spacious. Our main helper today was Kelly and she was one word , Wonderful 🙂. She took her time answering all my questions since it was my first time there ( won’t be my last I promise ). But she did brought my attention to matters that I find very interesting regarding some customers that is being a bit.. how should I say it…let’s use the word “Karen” since it’s 2023 and I’m pretty sure a vast majority of people know what that means , especially the people that are writing these hurtful reviews using their smartphones. These people sure have a lot of free time and doesn’t think about others wellbeing but themselves and their clueless minds regarding the economy right now. Let’s make something crystal clear here , eating out is a privilege and if you can’t , and if you are a high maintenance individual that is hard to please, then please stay home if you can make the food yourself. If you could then I guess you wouldn’t have to eat out , am I right ? So please. When you eat out , even if the food has a different taste to what you used to , embrace the new flavors. I don’t care if you had it there or there before , different restaurants means different people are cooking it . So the taste might be slightly different. But ask yourself this , are you eating poop? Are there starving people that are begging for even a bowl of rice or a slice of bread ? Why are you being so picky ?? So eat and enjoy , and if you tried it and don’t like it , don’t be mean and highly critical . Added to that please have common sense and look around you right now . Prices are going up for everything. Some people are struggling to maintain their restaurants and homes. So what if you want extra and they charge you ? Do you guys go to the supermarket and ask the cashier why things are expensive? I bet you don’t , you pay your groceries and you leave . What you get , you pay for it . Nothing is free unless the restaurant put a sign up and that says “ eat free today “ . But let’s be real if they do that , won’t they go out of busy ? Will you support their families ? Man I didn’t want to write an essay , but all the mindless reviews on here are ridiculous coming from people that are so sheltered from hardship. So as for my experience here it was a pleasant one and delicious one at that. Nice people , edible food , everything was placed out in front of you so you know what the prices are and the extra charges if you decide to have more stuff. Big portion as well . I was full to the point I needed to use the restroom , if you know what I mean 😅😂Clean and simple. I’m sorry for anyone that reads this and find it offensive, but please understand that small businesses are suffering and we should support one another , not bringing each other down. Thank you again Kelly for the great service, I’ll come back for more yum yum 😋.

UPDATE: unfortunately I'm going to have to change my rating for this restaurant and has nothing to do with the food but rather the service I received just a couple of days ago when I picked up my food order. When I called the order in, I requested specifically a K1 and to add bread. When I got to the restaurant, my order was not ready, which was fine, but I paid ahead then sat and waited for about 5 minutes for my food. when I received it, I walked to the car and thought it felt a little light, so I checked the order and found that the noodles were missing from the K1 I had requested. So I walked back in, and immediately, the woman who addressed me started to place blame on me for some reason and say that I had not yet paid because on the receipt, it says NYP. Which was not the case, but what did that have to do with my order being incorrect? She then proceeded to say that I would have to pay extra, still place in blame on me for some reason. When the second girl came with my food with the added noodles, she told me that next time I need to say that I still want the noodles with the bread. As you can see on my receipt they took it as a K3 order which did not have the noodles that is NOT WHAT I HAD REQUESTED. I requested specifically K1. That number is the soup with the noodles show me requesting to add bread should have told them I want the noodles because that is what the K1 comes with no one on my end meaning me requested a K3!!!!!!! I'm starting to understand their sign saying that they don't accept refunds or cancelations. That's a red flag for me for saying that sometimes their service is going to make you want to cancel. I don't think I'll be going back, unfortunately. -‐--------------- My first time going, the pho was good & spring rolls were made fresh. 😋 I've been back 2 more times since...each plate has been good!

I love this place. I had only had Vietnamese food once before coming here. To say the food is fantastic and addicting would be an understatement! The staff is just wonderful and I really enjoy coming here to eat.

9/15/2023

Still love this restaurant. I don't know what the other people giving 1 star reviews are talking about other than trying to ruin a great business or trying to get cheaper or free stuff. Which is just predatory!! Makes me upset because these people work so hard to make sure our dining experience is first class! The staff here are so friendly and welcoming just like family. The food, especially the beef stew, is fantastic. My kids and I just tried their newer pupus and let me tell you...YUM! My adult son always orders the beef stew with egg noodles. It's his favorite. My teenage daughter absolutely loves the chicken sandwich with extra eggs. She can't eat it fast enough. We just tried their chicken wings. OMG, they were the BEST chicken wings I've had by far. Even better then the Korean fired chicken from bbq chicken. It had a wonderful crispy crunch on the outside while juicy and tender on the inside without being over seasoned or over sauced like the Korean chicken. The portions are so generous too. I don't think I have ever really left the Big Bowl without a "togo" box. As for the "Dude" whining about splitting checks or getting a mandatory service charge for 4 -6 or more people. Stop being so cheap and troublesome. EVERY food joint charges extra for more people and extra fixings. Splitting checks is a lot of work for the servers for smaller groups. If you want to pay separate checks...pay in cash JERK!! Besides, they prefer cash anyway :). It says so at the register ;). If the food here (which is fantastic) is not to your liking go eat your DAMN Indian food!! I personally love this place. I love that I can come in and get seated right away by Kelly. Get a warm smile and hug from Sandy. Or even seeing how Vanessa is doing while enjoying a wonderful meal suggested by Jacob. (Thank you, Thank you for the beef stew suggestion) After which, I get to see How smiling at the register asking me how my food was. I don't know everyone working in the kitchen but thank you so much for making all the great food. It really makes a long day, week or whatever, so...
