I’ve been a regular at Wingtown & Grill for quite a while now, often stopping in and sitting at the same table each time—it’s become something of a routine for me. I've always appreciated the food and the friendly service, which makes this experience all the more disappointing.
Today, I placed my order as usual, and the chasier—who was polite and professional—brought my meal promptly. However, no more than two minutes into enjoying my burger, she returned to let me know, very gently, that I’d need to prepare to wrap up or move because the owner was arriving with a large party and wanted the table I was sitting at.
As I rushed through my burger, trying not to feel completely dismissed, I noticed the owner and his wife pulling up. Out of respect, I made sure to clear the table for them—disposing of all my trash and wiping down the surface before I left. They both saw me clearly as I walked out, yet neither of them said a word. No “thank you,” no acknowledgment. Just silence.
While the waitress did her best in an uncomfortable situation, it’s hard to overlook the message this sends. As someone who frequents this establishment and always sits in that same spot, it’s disheartening to realize that regulars can be asked to rush or relocate simply because the owner wants your table.
After this experience, I’ll be looking for a different place—somewhere that values all of its customers, not just the ones with their name...
Read moreI've been to most wing places, from single locations to chains, and Wing Town has THE BEST WINGS by far. No place can beat their in-house made delicious sauces. I have tried every single sauce and my favorites are garlic Parmesan and Asian Zing. Try them, and you won't regret it!
Furthermore, all of us have had a burger 100s of times. Their cheeseburger I had was 10/10!!!! Juicy and not dry, not overcooked, and not too salty, far better than the ones from Five Guys or Mooyah.
Staff was super friendly, courteous and helpful when it came to checking out the menu and answering our questions.
Granted the appearance isn't what you get from those over-the-top wing places. But really I don't care one bit, the quality was that good!! Anything they lack in appearance or flare is completely forgotten the moment you...
Read moreI visited on 6/9 around 1 p.m. I'm not sure if they are on a shortage, but the wings were TINY. They did provide extra wings (I assume to make up for the size) but it was very disappointing.
I had the Carribean hot and garlic parmesan bone-in wings. The Carribean hot was ok, it tasted more like a BBQ sauce than a "Carribean" flavor. but the garlic parm was a tad flsvorless, and you have to purchase ranch or blue cheese separately.
Normally, wings are about $10 for a 10 piece. Here, a 10 piece is $8.49 + a .89 sauce; the prices balances out to the cost of their competition.
Customer service wasn't anything remarkable. I don't mind driving 30 minutes for good food, but I don't truly have an incentive to give it another try..
Overall, just an...
