Cooper's Restaurant — Restaurant in Carrollton

This is an update. A couple of days ago, I stopped by Coopers to check it out since another review stated that they had stopped all smoking in the restaurant. Well it was so inviting that I decided to stay and have my catfish dinner. It was so nice not to have to take it home to get away from the smoke. This has been an incentive for me to come back and raise my three stars to five. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My input is probably long over due, but here goes. My standard is their cat fish dinner with fries and slaw. This is probably the very best cat fish I have ever eaten. I enjoy this while its still hot and I have never been disappointed. However, the disgusting odor of cigarettes have permeated every square inch of this place. It actually closes off my sinuses. This is why I have only given a 3 star rating. Since I live almost 20 miles away, it is either deal with the sickening atmosphere or take it home and wind up with reheated food with soggy...

My husband and I was traveling thru the area for business n stopped here for dinner one night because it was close to the job site. It was very good. It was a cozy mom and pops restaurant. My husband got the catfish plate and I got a chicken basket. Now it was fried but it didn't have a heavy taste of oil to it. Prices were fair, staff was nice, and the place was clean. I loved the cute patriotic restroom theme it was a nice touch also. We enjoyed it so much we returned for breakfast the next morning before we headed out. It was also very good. I only gave four stars because there's only a limited amount of seating inside n also limited parking outside. All n all I would recommend it for...

You must eat here! And don't bother eating anything other than the very best fried chicken I have ever eaten in my life. And the prices were absolutely amazing. Where else can you get 21 pieces of the best fried chicken for $40? Nowhere. And if we would have known we could get 21 pieces of All White meat for $45 we would have. Even 24 hours after ordering and putting the few pieces left in a microwave this deliciousness was still crispy! Still delectable! Still the best. Don't bother going to any other restaurant in Carrollton. Stop here. Eat the fried...
