We were passing through and hungry for something real and good. This fit the bill in all ways. Food was delicious! Seriously delicious. Pulled pork, perfectly crispy onion rings (no ketchup needed, they were that good!) and fried okra, Mac and cheese was home made with real cheese. Red Velvet cake was totally worth the extra. I met Mama who started this little family gem and she and some of the other family members came and talked with us and they were all super friendly… felt like family. Was a little hard to find. Map took us straight to it but didn’t see the signs first try. Sign is on the windows. The big signs from old businesses on the roof were misleading. I’m so glad we didn’t give up and ultimately found it. Also. Outside says carry out and catering but they have tables inside. Super clean and comfortable. Food was hittin! My husband and I were looking for a Black American owned restaurant in the area to eat at, after our child's cross country meet, this past Saturday. My husband and I both had rib plates (sauce on the side), with sides and a drink. The sides were good. The ribs were definitely on point. You could taste the smoke of whatever wood or chips were used during the smoking process. Then we messed around and ordered some of their specialty cake slices. The key lime slice and strawberry crunch slice were fluffy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. 😋 We'll definitely be back whenever our child has another event in the area.

Great service, great prices, and some of the best food in Carrollton! No joke, the best burger I've had in West Georgia. And the ribs are massive and unbelievably good. Potato salad is like a family reunion. And red velvet cake is the best I've ever had, and that includes the one I had for my wedding! Staff made us feel right at home, and despite the food being fresh cooked it came out in a timely fashion.
