Very expensive for the same thing I can get from the grocery store. Some things were waaaaay overpriced ($15 for a milkshake????).........
Update:. Since the restaurant felt the need to post an update to my honest review to minimize my experience, I will update my review. When I said I could purchase the same thing in the grocery store, I was referring to ice cream in general, not a specific brand. The Butter Pecan Ice Cream that I ate did not have a flavor that justified the price in my opinion. I referred to the price of the milkshakes because there are ONLY pull poster advertisements of $15 milkshakes all over the restaurant and no full poster adds for a $4 milkshake. I attempt to leave honest reviews with my general opinions, without criticizing the actual products because we all have our own tastes.
We did in fact purchase the $15 milkshake with all of the candy add-ons and we waited about 20 minutes just for the milkshake. Everyone else had already finished their ice creams by the time it came to the table. My niece ate the whipped cream and left the rest of the milkshake on the table because she said it was nasty.
We purchased the more expensive hand made waffle cones because we were first time customers and I will explain that now in more detail; If you have never been to this restaurant, you have to ask specifically for a regular cone because they are hidden from plain view and the only cones made visible to the customer on the front counter are the expensive hand made cones. We requested a chocolate and a Superman icecream in a waffle cone and that is what we were provided (handmade), we were not proactively offered the less expensive (hidden) cones.
Thank you for reading my review. I see that numerous people enjoy this restaurant and that is great. The price and business practices are not acceptible to me as a consumer. But, as they say, "to each his own".

Read moreI stopped by AGW Ice Cream in Carrollton recently, and let me just say—it instantly became one of my favorite little spots in town. The second I walked in, I felt like a kid again. Bright colors, a whole wall of candy, arcade games buzzing in the background—it’s the kind of place that just makes you smile.
The ice cream selection is insane—I’m talking over 60 flavors. I spent way too long trying to decide, but ended up getting birthday cake in a waffle cone, and it was soooo good. Creamy, sweet, and full of little chunks of cake and sprinkles. They also have these over-the-top “silly shakes” that are massive and loaded with candy, whipped cream, and toppings. It’s a sugar-lover’s dream.
What surprised me the most was how much they offer beyond just ice cream. You can get fried Oreos, funnel cakes, wings, corndogs, and even mac and cheese bites. It’s like a fair and an ice cream shop had a baby.
The staff was super sweet and patient, even though it was pretty busy. You can tell they love making people happy—and that energy rubs off on everyone inside.
If you’re ever in Carrollton and want to treat yourself (or your inner child), I 100% recommend AGW. It’s fun, tasty, and full of good vibes. I’m already planning my...
Read moreAgw ice cream/arcade can be summarized in one word "meh"
Food: Ice cream and food are at best decent. Ice cream isn't really all that surprising, and at times the serving sizes are small due to employees.(This also applys to the food)
Entertainment: The new bouncy park is an amazing idea for children. However it may be the only great part about this place. The price is great, the bouncy castles are astonishing, but thats about it. The arcade is certainly underwhelming, most arcade machines are too bland such as both the spongebob & emoji ball pushers, the slushy game, and etc. There's certainly a lack of physical games for adults/teens that adding games such as guitar hero, dance dance revolution, or anything similar would greatly improve the arcade with a better variety of arcade machines than just simple ticket games that end up wasting credits.
Conclusion: A new Thunderzone is said to open in Carrollton and will be the talk of the town when it does, so I'll save my money for when that day arrives. As for AGW improvement in both food and games would greatly help, but in it's current state It's just a...
