Christian, the drive through attendant took my order at 10:17 am this morning. His service and demeanor were AWFUL.
My little two old daughter wanted juice, and we couldn’t stop and go into a store somewhere because she doesn’t do well with short trips, seeing as how she does not like being strapped into her chair. Who does, right?
I began the interaction by asking if they had any kid drink. He said “NO”. His tone was dry, dismissive and he sounded annoyed. I used to work as a cashier and drive through attendant at 16 at Wendy’s. The job can be monotonous, boring, and pays badly. I get it. But I was never rude to someone.
Bewildered, I asked “really? What if I ordered a happy meal?” He replied with “we only really have breakfast right now” I asked once more “so you have no kid drinks, bo juice or milk or anything?” He said “not until 11:00am.”
I was not about to argue over the drive through with him even though this was an absurd conversation, so I simply asked for 2 sausage burritos and a small water.
On the screen, a message popped up asking if I wanted to add a kid juice amongst other items. I asked him about that and he was SO rude. Said something like “okay yeah I’ll add it.”
When I probed him about what he had just told me he just kept saying “okay yeah that’s what I just added”.
I am incredibly frustrated. This conversation was had over the headsets, and here all team members can hear the interaction. Where was management? Is he the manager? Was there nobody else at this location who cared that he was lying, being rude, and dismissive? I...
Read moreIf you go to the Mcdonalds up the street towards the Lewisville/The Colony area you will notice a vast difference in quality and taste. Even if you go to the Plano location near the Mall. It tastes better. This location is the problem. I hate I have to travel that distance just to get what I pay for. The food here gives off weird after taste and is sloppily made. Chicken nuggets are stale every time. You have to ask them to make you fresh ones and even then they are just the stale one reheated. Nothing is going to change until more people complain but just thought I’d start the train of complaint.
12/5/21 I can’t wait until my lease is up. You cannot reach anyone on the phone. In fact after the manager leaves for the day the service declines rapidly. There is only one or two kids (asian girl and hispanic kid are excellent) that know what they’re doing the rest are just there to play around. They missed one item on my order. Can’t reach the store so you can show you aren’t lying. Luckily I have my receipt and call log. You’d think with the pandemic causing the McDonalds franchise to pay their employees more would create better service. Especially when the menu is significantly less than what it is usually. Thats asking for entirely too much. Read moreI would probably give five stars for this visit because I thought the food and service were very good. Shelter from rain for the entire drive-through are horrible. It wasn't raining sideways. There was just no cover for the driver's window from the tiny overhead thing at the speaker box. It's pretty much useless. The payment window was even worse. It directed a running torrent of water directly in through the front of the driver's window. Hang back a little. Don't pull very far forward, and you might be fine in a hard rain. Second window's shelter seemed much better. Not perfect, but a lot closer. So! I had to say 3 times that I needed a few seconds before ordering, but that's fine. They're doing a lot, and the speaker system quality varies a lot. Hamburger extra mustard, ketchup, and pickle was just right. It wasn't pouring out, and wasn't dry. They put regular onion amount, not extra and not none (had those many times). Extra-crispy fries were exactly that. Filet-o-fish and Coke with lite ice were approved and consumed by my sister.
