YESSSS! What a wonderful meal at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue! The chicken is now my new favorite of chicken tenders! Not only was the food excellent and servings generous, but the service recieved from everyone was exceptional, from Joseph at the front counter to the most gracious owner, Taj! Freshness of food is important when you are trying to build your clientele. 733 pm on June 12 2021 We purchased BBQ mix and another plate that only has chicken katsu. I agree that it was cooked to order the question is, how fresh is the meat being cooked. The chicken for the katsu was not fresh, it tasted like meat that was left in the refrigerator for quite a few days. And yes, there is some not so fresh odor that comes with your order. If you have meat that is old throw it and do not use. You will never know if you've happen to chance on a customer like me who could taste meat...

I usually love L and L. Today I ordered Katsu to go and a side of pot stickers. Chicken Katsu was dry and tough to chew - disgusting. I would have eaten it if maybe they didn't forget the Katsu Sauce with my order. How do you forget to provide Katsu Sauce with an order of Chicken Katsu? Unacceptable! Oh yeah, pot stickers were burned black on one side as if someone threw them in a pan and forgot them. I guess the rice of all things was decent.
