This Del Taco was average at best. The only thing I saw that set them apart was the fact that the employees refuse to expend the energy to make shakes at night or in the am which is a policy that is completely unique to this particular location.
I don't know if this is something that management knows about and allows to continue, or whether the employees just take it upon themselves to refuse to do it, but the only reason I can see behind that decision is total laziness.
Don't get me wrong, not being able to get a milkshake is pretty far down on my list of everyday concerns, but what I think annoys me about it is that I can't think of any other places of work where you can just decide not to perform part of your job because it's a pain in the ass. Had this policy been a corporate thing or even if there was something posted on the menu saying they only served shakes between certain hours, I wouldn't have an issue. Read moreWhat happened?! The fries were HORRIBLE..again!!! They were somehow half cooked, yet hard and VERY D-R-Y as if it were cooked and recooked and then microwaved, did I say horrible?! All of the items in the order were cold--SO DISAPPOINTED. We used to be able to count on delicious, crinkled cut fries but apparently those days are over. We came here last week and the fries were the same, but we thought it was a fluke and returned tonight...MISTAKE! Whatever was changed should be reversed immediately. Spent $49 and a great deal of it was inedible and had to be thrown out. The Epic brisket burrito had tons of those nasty fries, VERY little brisket and hardly any BBQ sauce...couldn't be eaten. Can't tell if the fries or the oil is different causing this horrible result or both, but something has changed and NOT for the better! While ordering at the drive thru, I was asked what kind of drink I wanted. I asked what are the options. I was met with a dude response by the worker. She initially made a very fast statement that I did not understand. When I asked could she repeat the statement, she then responded in an aggressive tone. I paused and began to inquire: “Ma’am I did not hear you the first time.” At that point she cut me off to speak over me. I then stated, “My questions about the menu should not provoke an attitude.” She then started to laugh. I asked to speak to a manager, then drove forward.
Once at the window, I was met by the woman who had been speaking: Natalie. She called Ene to the window. Ene responded to Natalie, “But you are the manager, why do I have to speak?” Ene handled the situation as professionally as she could with Natalie laughing profusely behind her, and...
