This is not Italian done right so don't expect it to be.
People come here for the toppings loaded pizza.
What I ordered: The Lasagna meal (soup, salad, garlic bread, and lasagna) and a small pepperoni pizza.
Soup: Delicious. It was gobbled down quick with fresh crackers on hand. The flavor was so nice. Garlic, onion, and a blend of herbs that only my tongue can comprehend. Very tasty indeed.
The Salad: The salad was nothing more than lettuce with a handful of cheese plopped on the top. There are only two kinds of dressings in this place: Blue cheese and Italian. Italian is a nice way of saying Red wine vinegar because that's all I tasted and it was very off-putting.
The garlic bread tasted old and greasy. Not only did it lack actual flavor, but there were few pieces.
The Lasagna: Their Lasagna was a mess. If you enjoy italian sausage then you'll love their lasagna. I personally do not care for the taste but it was well-layered. I did notice something quite odd though. There was no actual tomato sauce in between the layers of lasagna, (?) rather the lasagna square was placed in the center of a soupy tomato sea in an oval dish.
The Pizza: lol The dough is made with doughnut flour. It was interestingly obvious. I had enjoyed their pizza before, but tonight I mostly enjoyed the toppings. They load them on here. Guys and families love this place for this reason alone.
Overall: The soup was tasty, but I...
Read moreA small, unassuming eatery in a small, unassuming strip mall. But what it lacks in pizzaz, it makes up for in food. You get plenty of it! I got a lunch portion of their spaghetti with meat sauce. I can NOT imagine how big the dinner portion is! The included salad is big enough for a meal on its own. Admittedly, I could've had more garlic bread, but I'm a galic bead fiend, so there's probably no pleasing me with how many you could give me.
The food is plentiful, but it is simple. Don't get me wrong, simple is great, especially as comfort food. But it is unremarkable as far as standing out in my mind as "the best spaghetti I've ever had." Still, the restaurant WILL pop up in my mind whenever I think I'd like some good local, simple spaghetti and there's no reason to go looking...
Read moreTrying to find a non chain restaurant close enough to the graduation venue was tough. But then I found this gem! Now, don't let the B rating fool you. They're doing something right, so just try them out! Service was on point, and so was the homemade blue cheese dressing. It's probably the best we've ever tried. Absolutely amazing! The pizza!! I ordered a small, which took me 3 days to finish. Italian sausage with anchovies. Omg! I live in Washington now.. so let me tell you, if I were in Cali.. I'd drive the 2 hours from my old home to order their pizza. It was an amazing, delicious meal. The anchovies were not overwhelming to the pizza and actually complimented it all. Dipped a little in blue cheese dressing .. heaven! Don't miss out on trying out...
