A group of friends and I meet once a month for lunch and have a girls day out. We treat ourselves ' royally' and so did Grand Oaks. We ate in the Rose Room that was set for just us, the food was beyond fabulous and the service was impeccable...not to mention the owner visiting us several times, what a delightful and interesting person Mr. Thacker is. The perfect host, giving us a tour of this gorgeous home after lunch. It goes without saying, we will be returning many times to come. Thank you Grand Oaks for making our day so much...

The place was beautiful. The lunch was nice. It sure wasn't worth $35.00 per person. I wasn't thrilled with the food choices. One of 3 of the desserts was banana pudding which was served hot. Not thrilled with that. The cornbread salad was delicious and I don't care for cornbread. The staff was on there toes, it was extremely busy in just the one room we were in. They were very friendly...
