This business is shared with another business, which I regret not spending more time checking out. I went to the back and I ordered an iced white mocha and it was very tasty. The young lady who helped me was kind and helpful. I also ordered a coffee cake muffin, which was really good, but too big to eat in one sitting. I was visiting a friend I haven't seen in a couple of years and we were able to sit in a couple of comfy chairs with a little table in between us and talk for a good 2 hours. They didn't seem to mind. I think it's a must try and definitely check out the business that it shares the location with. The picture is of the streets where I parked in the public parking area. Otherwise you would have to find street parking, which was hit or miss. My coffee and muffin with tip was just under $10, not bad.

This is what my husband just brought me back. The sweet cream foam was so thick and disgusting it filled up over half my cup i had to dump it out the coffee was sooo horrible it literally had zero espresso in it i couldn’t drink. Then i get to what’s suppose to be a ham and cheese croissant that was so hard, and had no cheese or ham inside. Is this what yall serve and expect ppl to pay money for if you are not specialized in food and special drinks or train your staff please stop serving it. Thanks

Super cute place! I love bubble tea and theirs is delicious! I got the strawberry kiwi bubble tea with mango pearls and it was super tasty. My husband got a strawberry banana smoothie and it was fabulous also. The staff are very friendly and know their stuff. Next time I stop in I will definitely have to try something else because I’m sure it will be delicious also! Very cozy and warm environment. Will definitely be back.

This quaint unassuming coffee shop has hands down the best cup of cappuccino I have ever had! Barista Felicity has a way if making the foam so thick and creamy!! It is divine..... heaven in a cup!!!! She also was very friendly, which is something often found in a Starbucks. I am here on vacation and after having my first cup had to drive 20 minutes back the next day to have another. YES, IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!! This place is decorated nicely is quiet. I actually got computer work done on day two. I met Jennifer, the Smugg's (that's their nickname for this establishment... cute) owner on day two. She was so nice. She even printed a few documents for my daughter who needed to print out a few pages for her college class.

This place not only is a coffe shop. Buy jas specialty vinegars and olive oils that you can sample prior to purchasing and wine as well. It has an upscale old country store vibe to it. IF YOU PASS THROUGH CARTERSVILLE, THIS IS A MUST STOP PLACE YOU SHOULD VISIT AND HAVE A CUP OF CAPPUCCINO! Thank you Jennifer and Felicity for such a...

We frequent this place as it is one of the few established coffee houses to get a proper espresso drink in Cartersville. Albeit it is rare.

Unfortunately, there is no consistency in their drinks. We tip often as well, but I've chosen to write a review rather send back poorly made drinks.

The distinction that will separate Southern Muggs from any other shop/competition is proper training. Dairy fat content, time and temperature matters when steaming. I do not see this being considered any time. If you get skim milk, it is prepared the same way any other dairy is steamed. Which is not correct. Same for 2% and whole...

Only sometimes you can get a great drink here, but most times it's a failed version of what a correct espresso drink should be.

None of which is done on purpose, I just think the staff doesn't know/needs a good refreshment on training.

I wish that level of know how was present at this coffee shop. If it were, there would be no competition or no room for any...

I can't say enough good things about this place. This is my favorite coffee shop; any time we're anywhere near Cartersville we stop in.

The coffees are amazing - drip and latte/mocha - both, and they don't overdo the flavoring in your drink.

They have little snack things, pastries mostly, or cakes, but I haven't tried them.

They have live music - I think Saturday evening?

The people are so great, and they remember faces and preferred drinks. They certainly know how to pull a shot properly! I've never had a bad coffee here.

Through the back is a hall to a shop that sells various infused oils, like a blueberry balsamic that is stellar and harisa infused olive oil that we now cook with exclusively. They aren't expensive and definitely worth a look. They also have some tea and general kitchen supplies. ;)

But, back to the coffee shop! It's such a friendly place and they make incredible coffee. This is my favorite coffee shop and any time we're anywhere near...
