My team and I were headed back to the RDU airport, but wanted a good burger joint. We did a quick Yelp search and Corbett's came up as the obvious choice. We drove to the location, which is in the corner of an L-shaped strip mall, with Big Lots. We went in the shop to place our order. They have a huge selection of soda! I mean, such a huge selection, that if you don't see it in the cooler, that means it doesn't exist. I couldn't believe how much selection there was. If I had looked at each bottle to decide, I would have been on the soda choice for at least 15 minutes. After picking one out, I went up to place my order. The nice lady took my order, and punched it into her register, and then took my credit card. Note to all of you, they do not hand you a receipt at this point in the process, it actually comes out on the tray with your order. I ordered the Pimento cheese burger, and was very excited for it, as I waited at an outdoor patio table. The weather was HOT, but the flies were gathering and buzzing because the garbage can was within three feet of the tables. The staff is friendly, and my food was delivered hot and fresh. I opened my burger and dug in. There were two thick hamburger patties, so i was slobbering with anticipation! BLAH!! No taste, and this is a Pimento cheese burger, and I made it a double. I could taste the Pimento cheese just fine, but that is where the flavor stopped. I don't think they season their patties. I was so disappointed in my tasteless burger experience! I was so looking forward to giving this place a great review. I just can't. I am sure for locals, this place is the bomb diggity, but that was not my experience. I did order a small coffee flavored shake and that was good. The soda I had didn't have much flavor either. Jack Black cherry flavored soda. Friendly staff, but no flavor on my burger. I did not get a chance to taste the waffle fries. maybe next time. I would go back to try something else, but this burger joint doesn't even crack all the local top 10's, so maybe I will try a different place when we go...
Read moreUPDATED REVIEW: I have not seen the owner there the last several times I have visited. Today will be my last time eating here. I did not have time to put in an advanced order so I had to go in and order. I am kicking myself on this because of Covid and being in a small space with others for a long time. That is not why I am taking my review down from a 5 star to a 2 star. I reduced my review because it was not super crowded and only a few orders at most, and waiting for as long as I did, and reheating my burger in the oven at home it was bright pink in the middle. This is the 5th time out of the past several times my burger was raw. There were 7 employees and 6 of them have no urgency and were lost. One guy walking around with the pineapple on a spatula pacing back and forth and about to dump it on the counter instead of a bun. They had the wrong cheese on the 2 burgers and the 1 alert associate caught it. She had to give simple instructions to the fry guy to get him to do his job. Apparently the 3 cooks need supervision. The burger guy keeps flipping the burgers instead of letting them cook, too much time on his hands. This place used to be so good and I keep making excuses but unless the owner is there it just is poor execution and a bad experience. I regret risking myself while waiting in the restaurant, especially for a raw burger.

I pre order our meals online at 7 to be picked up 7:15-20, knowing it was closing at 8 I was picking up my kids both at separate evening events. Grabbed both kids showed up 22 after took a while find someone to get my order. My children wanted shakes to go so I told them to wait in line. We ordered, and waited and waited and waited It is now 7:40, my son inquired about the shakes, they dug through paper tickets and found our, supposedly. We waited we waited. It is now almost 8 I inquire still no shakes, a kid is filling the machine no orders no shakes now cold food and a waste of my time and tolerance. Word of advise if you can't keep and make customers happy, Close the place, or let someone else do a better job. P.S. even cold our meals were a mess my son's burger was burnt, wrong cheese, mine was smashed..
Update: To clarify why my review was never changed. Mr. Corbett, we did talk extensively, and u stated it was uncommon that this happen. Yes you refunded my purchase price and gave me compensation for troubles. Well, we used that and ordered 4 burgers and 3 fries. My wife brought it home and her burger was missing. She called went back and it took almost 40 min to resolve. When she got to ur shop no one knew what she was talking about.
