A Sweet Celebration at Harvy's on Hwy55, Cary As a competitive gymnastics team mom, organizing an outing for 28 energetic girls (ages 8–14), along with 3 dedicated coaches and myself, is no small feat—especially after a successful competition season! To cap off a fun-packed celebration day, we chose to visit the newly opened Harvy’s on Hwy55 in Cary, and I’m thrilled to share that it exceeded all expectations. We ordered 22 custom Boba teas and 9 made-to-order ice creams, and every single drink and dessert was crafted perfectly—not one mistake, which is incredibly impressive considering the size and variety of our order. The girls were over the moon, and it’s no easy task to please this age group! Their smiles said it all. Sapan and his team handled the large group with professionalism and warmth. Despite the busy rush and our crowd, other customers had plenty of space to enjoy their time. The staff kept things moving smoothly and made everyone feel welcome. If you're looking for a fun spot to take kids, I highly recommend Harvy’s. It’s not just about Indian flavors—though they shine—it’s also about the broad range of international desserts and flavor options available. Now on to my personal favorites: I’ve visited a couple of times and have fallen in love with their non-dairy options like the Raw Mango Sorbet and Pani Puri Sorbet—so unique and refreshing! For those who love traditional Indian sweets, the Gujarat Special Rabdi, Punjab Special, and Rasmalai are must-tries. The Mango ice cream brought back memories of enjoying mangoes in India—it was that authentic. I also sampled the Lychee, Chikoo, and Sitafal ice creams. While I’m not usually a fan of exotic fruit flavors, these were impressively close to the real fruits. Other highlights include Kesar Pista, Paan, and a surprise treat for fans Brownie- their version of sizzler brownie with vanilla ice cream is just spot on! In short, we had a fantastic experience. Harvy’s is a gem for anyone craving bold flavors, nostalgic treats, or just a place to celebrate. Sapan and his team deserve all the praise—they’re doing something truly special here, blending Indian tradition with a modern...
Read moreSweet Room is a pleasant milktea + bakery spot with a relaxing, date-friendly ambiance and signature Seoul-inspired, yellow-lit atmosphere with a warm interior and beautiful decors. At first glance, it's surely the ideal spot for a sweet date.
I tried 1 of their fruit teas and my girl ordered a cocunut milktea. They both went well with the mocha cake slice we bought for about $8, slightly bigger and more expensive than Breco Tea's cake slices but not as rich or creamy. We also tried their cold mango dessert ($7), which tasted fantastic but for the price, the amount wasn't satisfying.
They 1 of the best milktea cups we've seen - similar to Milk Lab's but slightly better. The beverages themselves were questionable - while the tea tasted fine, the flavors tasted artificial, powder-based rather than organic ingredients.
They offer a variety of milktea, fruit tea, and cake flavors but from what we've tried in our couple of visits, none of them stood out; none of them astonished us or made us want to return, which felt quite bittersweet because the ambiance of Sweet Talk is perfect for sweet talks.
Customer service was fast and welcoming. Seems like there's a personal touch from the Korean couple who ran the cafe. Compared to more "franchised" milktea spots like Kung Fu Tea, Sweet Room is just sweeter when it comes to ambiance and customer service. When it comes to drink and food quality, however, that could get a boost. Overpriced desserts are not "sweet" to the customers no matter how...
Read moreThis place is an absolute hidden gem! I was curious how Indian ice cream, boba, and pizza could all exist under one roof — but somehow they pull it off perfectly.
The Indian ice cream (kulfi) is rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor — I tried the pistachio and mango, and both tasted just like the ones I’ve had in India. You can tell they use real ingredients and not artificial syrupy stuff.
The boba tea is also top-tier — chewy pearls, not too sweet, and a great selection of both classic and creative flavors. I got a rose chai milk tea with brown sugar boba and it blew my mind.
And the pizza? Surprisingly amazing. The paneer tikka pizza is next-level — the crust is perfectly crispy and they’re generous with toppings. It’s not your usual pizza spot — it’s got personality and flavor.
The place is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the menu is full of cool surprises. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory, sweet, or refreshing, you’ll find something to love here.
Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back (probably...
